What's unreal is your blatant attempts to talk up the prospects of a few hundred barrels of oil being sold against the backdrop of millions of pounds of debt. Having assets that don't produce or indeed underproduce is not the basis of a sustaiable business or sound investment, particularly when the BOD have such a history of nonperformance and duplicity in their comms.

The price of oil could double from now but there has been NO COMMERCIAL OIL FOUND IN THE BAHAMAS and there is no political or popular appetite for another drill that could tempt a major - the reputation damage is more just isn’t worth it. CEG may have right to drill more holes but it has neither the credibility or cash to ever do that again on its own and so the “farm in” carrot will always be dangled. As long as CEG are pitching their wares and ever dwindling prospects to majors they can use that well worn phrase “farm in discussions continue”.

Ask yourself why after all these years no one has bitten!

my last thought - perhaps one wouldn’t need to be working so hard, continually chasing losses or averaging down if one made better investment decision or knew when to admit poor judgment/take a loss. Just saying.

Agreed with you David Brent but when you're a narcissist who suffers from the worst case of hubris this is likely to fall on deaf ears, although we have been spared the latest threatened "analysis" - probably still looking for something positive to dress up from the last RNS.

But let's not forget this was the guy who wrote an open letter to the Bahamas media outlets as a "concerned shareholder" at the height of the environmentalist dispute, which was really quite damaging to our image locally - we are dealing with someone who really does think their point of view matters above all else!
