Totally agree with you Aerial, BUT, I think we need the big share holders to stop PUMPING/DUMPING shares to each other. This will allow the SP to rise and new share holders to buy in to a growing company.

holding ONLY cost the SP to drop by ABOUT 20%???? Is that worth having such big share holders?

I believe that what you are saying is not quite correct as - However, the government will provide funding to maintain the public services run by Carillion So the impact could be very small

or other have invested in a DOG, although at the time it was not a DOG but things change and it becomes a DOG. I know I have, AFREN turned into 1 for ME, and I lost all my investment. At the first sign of weakness there are shorter's who jump in and smell BLOOD.

The government is in a bind. Let Carillion fail and risk thousands of job losses, or bail it out and risk propping up a private company with public money - only a few months after it paid out dividends to its shareholders. How could they pay a dividend when there books were in such a mess???

Would be for the banks to lend the money and send someone in to try and sort out the mess?? Has been done before with companies in trouble, and could happen again. This would mean that the banks in effect own the company, wit hNO share holder value???

I would guess that someone is hoping for a rise in SP so they can get out with a quick profit. The investment is roughly 1:300th or 0.03% of the current company value. At them moment they are sitting on a.0.9p loss per share.

Then bidding of machinery and GOV contracts/ I would be very surprised if one company tried to buy CLLN outright with all its different businesses. I would have thought companies would wait to try and get GOV contracts with increased prices. JMT

Read so much about CLLN trouble and its fall from grace from 1B to 61M is a long way. It will be a hard slog to get the necessary funds while the SP is so low, nothing to pledge against loans. After the Financial Crisis I did invest in a lot of companies whose SP was decimated but that is different to CLLN. It has the HS2 going for it but I am not sure about TO BIG TO FAIL even with government intervention???? What is the consensus on this share??????

he emails it to you. He does not think much of this share as he bought at 1.29p and lost 75% with all the promises and company HYPE and nothing coming of the deals the company was posting...

there appears to be a few L A R G E holders playing with the shares, passing from 1 to the other????
