Hard Brexit on near Horizon , EU heading into Recession , all Global Economic indicators heading South and Some Folk still think buyback in 60's is value for money ? We all know Lloy will hit 40's again , this buyback will look as another +16% misallocation of scarce resources .

I heard on the radio this am , our GOV has instructed Pharma CO's to stockpile medicine rather than sell abroad , as when Brexit occurs in the next 2 weeks Sterling will fall enhancing pharma profits of goods sold overseas , at the expense of U.K. Citizens .The same will apply to our manufacturing sector , so hence no problem with a hard Brexit

At least our Gov is making plans for our default option , which is looking more likely by the day . We might be grateful to our MPs for being so self centred over the next 2 weeks

I have a house in Majorca , which I visit during our warmer climates . I also speak 4 languages . I also like my produce fresh . I purchase perishables from the local market and over the yrs have got to know the farmers . 20 yrs ago they sold sausages , the reason they don't now has already been mentioned . For personal use or fodder only .

It would be adviceable for you to get some first hand experience of what EU Utopia looks like for Tusks serfs .

The above has been tried in Greece , Italy and Spain . They don't survive without subsidies . Economies of scale rules .farmers who for generations turned their excess meat/non edible into sausages , have been told they're not following EU health directives and have been threatened with fines .Dissintivising them !! You couldn't make it up .

JL , there is excess capacity in all manufacturing sectors Globally , as such it's going to be neigh impossible to enhance our productivity . As the EU slows down to zero Economic growth , watch Germany's productivity go into negative territory.
