There's a Global search for yield . Pension funds own most of DOW as they do FTSE , monies will be transferred accordingly in search of risk free yield , affecting equities .

Asset values will return to their true value in due course .

They charge you .2% commission on purchase and a further .2% on sale on a profit of .5 % .

You might as well invest in PM' , guaranteed capital appreciation , inflation proof and free of Government interference .

Thank you for your observations . Majorca at this time of yr is a truly beautiful oasis , all greenery .

Following the end of my contract with the British Army I was given £12k as end of service settlement , many moons ago . Every time I went on active svc my savings account kept increasing .

My landlord as a student in Newcastle upon Tyne had 500 houses . I thought I'd like one myself one day . As a civilian went to 13 banks before I was lent £22k to buy my first BTL . I have never looked back , kept reinvesting profits and made portfolio grow 7% pa .

I came to Majorca on holiday in 2009 . Driving around found villa for sale . Went to La Caixa bank to borrow funds and they told me rate was 9% . I borrow @ 2.3% over base so just phoned Barc Corp manager requesting a drawdown .Hence Majorca .

One of my competitors in late 70's has had enough and sold me her 3x 8 bed houses in my patch this yr .

In '20 I kept telling LTI he'd be able to pick up Lloy @ 23p . I also told him I'd throw £2M @ Lloy when the time was right . LTI told us he caught the trough , I got in @24p . Hence why I look upon LTI as our resident Walter .

The profits from this trade are being used as deposit for a block of flats in my patch .
