sadly no - HL price was 23.54 jones richard was quoting to 23.78.
It actually looks as if HL, who price on the bid, will settle at 23.62 (0.26 up on yesterdays bid at close of 23.36)
As you say 24p would have been much better for us all. Its only a matter of time - but it does tick me off to see the gain evaporate in the last few minutes - day traders ?

Wonder why there aren't many trades ? Its almost as if someone doesn't want too much volume - which kind of defeats the object of a market doesn't it ?

the bid appears to have dropped by 0.08p in a couple of minutes off the back of a few thousand shares traded.
Every day the MM's cream off their little bit at the last minute - reminds me of the guys in the banks salting away everyones half pennys.

I have wondered how that happens - but didn't want to comment as the likely response/s would be crushing,

until I remembered its 31/10 and saw the title “Voting Rights”.
