Could not resist at this price (80,000 @ 7.75), will buy more if it dips. Well run and in a good space.
Bad boy !!, in your bed !
Hope you're right, Scottish airspace will be cleared from 7.00 tomorrow for sure
Status Quo are stranded in Russia. Surely the only interest here is shorting. I'm not long or short but we are not sending the navy out across the world with a solution imminent. This blowing for a year is not such a contrarian view right now and nobody truly knows when it will stop. We are already discussing short term food shortages at government level.
Ready to double up on this one, or should I say double down. Quoted 28.97 for 20K a little rich.
I need a 40% dividend :-(
SPI was showing a gain so I rebooted my pc. Here it is again, is this a problem with Windows 7.

I was just offered 2.70 to buy £5k worth
I'm fighting an urge to pile into this
Thanks for clearing that for me. Yet the share price is a little weak, a long term hold for me but expected it to strengthen given good earnings visibility and the yield. I have some higher risk stuff but there are quite a few people on here playing the casino with stocks that could kill them if/when we have a nasty downturn.
Interim Dividend Payment Date 26-03-2010 Interim Ex-Dividend Date 17-02-2010 Am I right in thinking this is 6%
My broker cannot trade this share for me at present. Trying to buy 12299 @ 53.25
I'm liking this, having not followed it does the spread narrow to give a better ask price or this spread typical. I know if it goes up 10 pence who cares.
Expectation of full year results "slightly lower" and an increase in pre tax profit of 32% doesn't warrant a 12% drop in my view. Once the governmant starts doing what the US is trying to do and breaking up the big banks as a part of the electioneering programme, banks will hold all the cash they can get there hands on, lending will stagnate and interest rates will go up. All that plays into BEG hands. That said I don't have a lot of history with this one and if the management are poor then they can't be helped.
This looks like a decent shelter from the storm. No dividend but increasing assets, very little cost to run and NAV somewhat higher that the share price. Anyone out there with any views.

Here's to blocks of brown grease masquerading as chocolate, from where Hershey is considered luxury and McDonalds is called a restaurant.
