Starts at 1:03. Some interesting stuff on volatility and the differences apparent in how you collect samples.
This was a good bit of business by DW ...
'Accumulate has also entered into an agreement with Great Bear Petroleum to acquire a 69.1%

Sorry, reading back it reads like I was being a smartarse. Not my intention just pointing out for all that it could, for all we know , go quite a way into 88e acreage. I wonder if it makes up part of Juliet target.

Newanda, I doubt the play ends in a nice round line like PANR show. PANR wouldnt know as I dont think they have seismic that far south. 88E wouldnt know as our seismic is just over the western fairway. Just been having a look at old releases and couldnt remember much on the central and eastern icewine acreage.

How many of us will be having a peek over the fence at 4pm??

That really needs to succeed Brom otherwise Alaskan oil is doomed. Incredibly short sighted in my view as it will lead to higher oil prices in US and greater reliance on imported oil.
Personally I don't think Burden will last 4 years.
Panr rns dated today. Keep up

Pausing til next winter. Some details pertinent to 88e....
'The Kuparuk horizon at this location was overpressured which was both unexpected and unlike any known Kuparuk well regionally, which caused challenges in testing. The four normally pressured shallower zones, all of which encountered light oil and offer excellent potential based upon analysis to date, will be tested in a future program.
The Company collected an enormous amount of drilling, logging and testing data which will be evaluated. Additionally, Pantheon has engaged the experts at Baker Hughes and Advanced Hydrocarbon Stratigraphy ("AHS") to provide Volatile Analysis Service ("VAS"), a comprehensive, sophisticated and independent evaluation of hydrocarbon presence in the well bore, using mass spectrometry analysis of well cuttings. Pantheon also used conventional data collection techniques including 'Logging While Drilling', mud logging, side wall cores and an entire suite of wireline logs'
AND
'The SMD(shelf margin deltaic) was not as well developed as anticipated at Talitha #A, however based on our new data Pantheon now interprets that the SMD extends across the Alkaid project, and better developed as it extends south east across the Dalton Highway. This significantly increases the resource near the highway.'
Thanks garrym. I was thinking sidetrack meant horizontal. Thanks for pointing that out. I think that duck thing was a comment by an alaskan oil and gas division person not from the co themselves, if I remember correctly.
Garrym, can I ask what your thoughts are on Merlin 1H and Harrier next year? Is that enough to prove up Peregrine for a sale do you think? I know other plays like Armstrong drilled 16 wells but we can't afford to do that.
I agree. I don't think any of our projects are sellable right now. But with a successful Merlin-1H and Harrier-1 drill next year then project peregrine would be eminently sellable. Next year would put us in a far better position than this year due to the information they have gleaned so far. They'll have the best possible idea of where to drill the horizontal and a good idea of best depths for both wells. I see no reason why a deal similar to the Armstrong deal could not be struck.
