Yep, they need to bring something in of their own, not the assets the old board acquired. I remember the 3 deals comment, along with the mid cap status.

I was told that Onedyas didn't come back with a counter offer anywhere near sensible, so it seems a price was never agreed. Jumped the gun?

It's also been confirmed to me that multiple parties remain interested in acquiring all or part of Ruvuma, but that's dragging on too.

Seems the board don't hold much interest in previous legacy assets, which is all well and good, but do you trust them when we finally do get something back in the pot?

They have done alot of talk the talk to date, but it's time they cracked on and made Scirocco the company they supposedly wanted to create!

They apparently have alot of money invested so are aligned with shareholders, perhaps they should cough up some more to show some faith.

Ah but they have been working hard Steve, they say so in their last RNS ;)

There is no interest here and why would it be any different, that mid cap status proclamation has made them look like a bunch of clowns.

Thank you for the insight Holyroller, refreshing to see posts that reiterate what is actually happening rather than the happy clappers who have persistently tried to drum this up throughout the year.

I know the views most have on Malcy, and i found it obsurd that some have suggested he was paid to include Scirocco in the bucket list, but when he told me personally that he thought the board had done an exceptional job this year I almost spat my coffee out!

Despite the global issues we have faced this year, I think the board have been absolutely dire and the SP today reflects it and tells you the true story.

Happy new year all holders, I fear if we don't turn a corner soon and something happens with the "multiple interested parties for Ruvuma, then it will only drift further.

If the board were a premier League team they would without a doubt be Sheffield United!

I can't believe it if I'm honest Chris.

On the few occasions I have spoke with Malcy regarding Scirocco he has stood firm and really rates these guys. Christ knows why.

You won't find many shareholders who are happy with the progress (name change).

I fear a long wait for any news, all quiet on the Western front now.

Still quite annoyed at this Northern, shareholders have been misled, and to think otherwise would be foolish and letting sentiment get in the way.

Like many I am tied in here with no escape, but with my finances severely stretched, in hindsight I would of bailed on the spike of 1.5p. That was a considerable loss as well.

I hope Scirocco get rid asap, and get something going on the way to that laughable mid cap status strategy of theirs. But what if the Zubs are trying to starve them out and take that on the cheap?

I feel for all the long term holders here, really do. I've been here 4 years but feels much longer.

We are now Scirocco, nothings changed except the name. I don't rate these guys atall.

One thing is for certain Steve, they don't deserve an easy ride come Monday.
