Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I don't see us turning a corner anymore.
Mentally have written it off now, I don't trust the board and I have never liked how they have come across.
Like the remaining few, have been here long enough and suffered for it, and even if they did have a buyer for Ruvuma (which I agree Steve, I think is BS) I wouldn't trust them to reinvest it.
They are riding off old assets, which I will again reiterate were not supposedly a big part of the master plan, so you can imagine if this was a complete shell?
I will get involved if people decide to take some action, other than that shall take a break from the stress of it all. Which is silence!
So envious of companies that release actual news and progressive updates!
Good luck all, but gut feeling is too late for that.
I will do as much as I can to help, or even get the ball rolling.
But I have never been involved in one before, so wouldn't know where to start really.
They seem extremely arrogant, or is that just me?
Evidently we all feel the same about the board.
Instead of us all pointing out the obvious every few days, we actually do something about it.
A shareholders group is needed and action needs to be taken, who is willing to try?
If we don't stand up to this board it WON'T change.
Agreed Steve, have been saying it a while now. Without action it simply won't change here.
If you contact Ben he just spins excuses about it being a difficult market, and without the existing assets (the ones that aren't part of their great forward thinking strategy) they would be up the creek without a paddle.
I would say that end of quarter one is more than lenient.
And understandably, as I am in a similar situation Steve. It is a message board after all.
No different to people coming on and being overly optimistic, in fact far better because it's the truth.
I am genuinely surprised more shareholders aren't more critical, but I guess it doesn't get us anywhere as the board couldn't care less if you ask me.
Let's revisit the talk of a shareholders group in 6 months time, when nothings happened again. You'll see.
All the best, I sincerely hope all the long term sufferers get some respite soon.
Northern, if you take off 'as far as I am aware' that's where we stand, I skim through Scirocco RNS's knowing subconsciously that nothing of significance will be in there.
Bucklerfern, you sound like a right k**b, one less Stella for you tonight ;)
Northern, as far as I am aware we have had no substantial update on Sciroccos 25%, only that they have apparent multiple interested parties and that if no bid is tabled that they deem to be suitable, they will hold on until the drill.
Personally I don't think 'telling us their plans' will cut it anymore, they have had more than enough time to produce something and we now need an income...bottom line.
They claim to be an ambitious and very competent and experienced board, but the way I see it, they are getting this all rather wrong.
Only so many more months we can get by with no news of substance.
I would like to see them sell Ruvuma, nothing in Tanzania moves along on time, and I don't see the drill in first quarter of 2021 being any different.
As for the Aminex RNS today, I read it as worrying. Noone left to bat for the shareholders now, so perhaps Aminex should consider a name change too....
Good luck all, patience wearing thin and I think they are running out of time personally.
They tabled a 30million bid to Onedyas, surely they could of come up with a smaller acquisition by now?
Sort it out!
I was told that Onedyas didn't come back with a counter offer anywhere near sensible, so it seems a price was never agreed. Jumped the gun?
It's also been confirmed to me that multiple parties remain interested in acquiring all or part of Ruvuma, but that's dragging on too.
Seems the board don't hold much interest in previous legacy assets, which is all well and good, but do you trust them when we finally do get something back in the pot?
They have done alot of talk the talk to date, but it's time they cracked on and made Scirocco the company they supposedly wanted to create!
They apparently have alot of money invested so are aligned with shareholders, perhaps they should cough up some more to show some faith.
Ah but they have been working hard Steve, they say so in their last RNS ;)
There is no interest here and why would it be any different, that mid cap status proclamation has made them look like a bunch of clowns.
