I don't really like holding shares longer term, but sometimes I have to where I've missed a profit opportunity, but not by choice. With experience and lack of patience, these usually end up costing money as they dwindle down. I prefer and try to do like Capita today and Clipper and INDV the other day. In and out the same day and not to hold.

Another one weighing me down now is ASCL, I bought them last week and have an average of price of 427 with £14k and I could have let them go yesterday at 421 and a small loss but I didn't and now they are at 411

I got out of INDV yesterday at about 308

I'm in TT for £24k with a measley £300 profit showing and I'm in Capita for £12k with £320 profit showing and bloody Koov is showing a £2600 loss

Are you still in TT Chancers? I thought from about 19th July TT had settled down a bit and was on a steady rise.
