Jambon, just going back to your last comment about the log burner, that was ok with the old paper money, but using £20's and £50's now gets expensive and the new plastic money gives off a funny smell - lol

That GQ track has just reminded me, I was 18 and in my first car driving up Clarendon Rd in Watford one day with that blasting out the windows, as you do, and had to stop at the traffic lights where there was a major busy bus stop and half the people there all started dancing, it was hilarious.

Full sympathy with you on that one Chancer. How they enforce the rules on people who do things through the right channels yet this country and the EU is full of millions of people who have no right to be here/there.

I have always thought the cost of living in this country was quite high, but from the sorts you see wondering about in town high streets during the middle of working weekdays, life must be cheap or FREE for that matter. I wonder if the same can be seen in Monaco for example or does private security put a stop to it.

As for Specsavers, I can't really say, I don't use them myself. I use an independent in the town here but I only go about once every 4 or 5 years. I have been tempted to try one of the online companies especially at £6 a pair for prescription glasses. I still use contact lenses when I go out though and I get those online, have done for the last 15 years. I'm sure any optician would adjust your glasses but they will charge if you didn't buy from them.
My wife has all the equipment in her car but you are a bit far away - lol
She used to work for Asda Opticians then a couple of independents then Vision Express, then Specsavers instore, but she left to go mobile because she couldn't stand all the bitchyness that went on with other staff members - lol

We are like an endless money supply for them, even tourists from here go and spend money in the EU, It's a shame we don't get EU tourists coming to spend money here, We do get millions of them coming here but most come without money - lol
On the last count, there was about 12000 or more EU'ers in our prisons, but maybe the EU prisons are maxxed out with English crims, who knows
