Maybe it is incredibly compelling, but if the board think we are so undervalued why is it prepared to pay with shares at this low price? If the price triples it is a very expensive deal imo. Shows a lack of confidence in what we already have and I don’t like it. I am hoping the Q&A will change my view!
What was the name of that Irish oil company that JP tried to take over about 8 years ago? Reminds me a bit of that! I haven’t looked at Angus for years but I see it is still uk based. Sadly it seems the industry is under pressure to wind down in the Uk so we can import more from dodgy countries! ) so I am not happy with this. Ok gas prices are high now, but for how much longer? I am shocked and surprised by this. How about sort Sidi out instead? Hope it doesn’t happen.....
Renewables are so dull as an investment.
I think most of us invest in oil and gas for the potential upside and excitement. Diluting for a dull investment isn’t floating my boat.
What about our potential gas discovery? What is happening in Bolivia?
Sound have yet to have success in any exploration drills so my hopes are not high for the next one. However, should they get success I would expect the share price to go nuts.
They need to keep playing it safe and drill in the existing known areas imo. I fear true exploration is likely to be money down the drain aswell has denting sentiment further.
Graham seems to be doing the right things so far, so I am tempted to keep adding at these prices.
I really hope that GL is right about the the geology........I trust the man but heard these claims about similarities to Algerian geology before and hasn’t been the case so far. Hard to be too positive about the next drill after the previous 3, be brilliant if true though!
