Jerryspanial l never said there was no more gold in the ground , I said the last few years historically we have mined less the the year before due to dwindling supplies, and mining companies historically have not been looking for new resources to replace those supplies.

Jerry there is no extra production of Gold, last few years have seen Gold production fall from previous years and that has never happened before, not a choice to do it, just not there because the investment from miners to find it hasn't been there. As Hydrogen says if you put all theGold we have dug out the ground together in one place you would be surprised how little it actually is. It has been money for 10000 years or so because it is so rare.

Starbright, unfortunately the world is edging to a position where Fiat could fail, then Gold will be the Money of choice for all central banks. It will not be pretty but I think it will happen so better to be positioned for it then moaning about your Fiat being worthless. If once in a while things have to reset, I think one of those moments is close and I think it will be a big one.

Daz you have to decide if you are investing or trading, if you believe in it enough to but it why sell after a few months, particularly in the volatility of AIM

I heard a theory that the Fed have pushed the economy into a position that POG has to rise substantially as they want to see it at $10000 so there supply with cover all of the QE when Bretton Woods 2 kicks in

Speedy, agreed, Fed , Central Banks all caught in their own trap with nowhere to turn , all sitting watching a disaster of their own making unfold. Gold & Metals will bre the new high growth sector soon. My opinion

The Learner, well none of us have a crystal ball, I bought quite a lot then watched it dwindle after not taking profit in oct 20, but coming good now and have high hopes for it now, plan to get more when I can free up some dosh. GL with it Learner

Hydrogen, thanks for your efforts on this it is definitely a reassuring figure and one worth repeating often so anyone unsure as to our position should we need to make a stand, will know potentially the level of support we have over any unwelcome offer.I hope we never need to use it but strange happenings going on over the last year and better to be prepared for a fight rather than meander along thinking the world will just hand us our due rewards on a plate.

Notrader yes so if HL hold say 25% that would be mainly PI, probably, but do that with all the brokers then deduct the istos and insiders and maybe get a good ball park figure, who knows but I will try and look into it further, nothing to lose

Spade , not disclosing individuals, but how the holdings are spread , PI, INSTOS, INSIDER that kind of thing, but I think you already knew that is what I meant.

Spade, it would give a more accurate indication as to the strength of PI holdings and that could be key to persuade many who may be undecided whether or not to take an offer made on the back of a campaign to destabilise the share price and the sentiment. If people have confidence to hold for more then that is probably what the will do, but if they have had enough and are terrified of poor sentiment and falling SP then if in profit or even loss in sone cases they may be tested to take a ridiculous low ball offer.So if the PI holdings are not as much as people think knocking back a lowball offer may not be as straightforward as one would hope, but a high PI holding would certainly give a degree of comfort.
