Star, yes, gold is used in the same way bitcoin is being used in regards to protecting wealth but it has underperformed in comparison, it is also believed to be very undervalued historically, everyone pro gold is banking on that , situation being reversed, but we are all waiting.

Loggy, THE S&P 500 is being driven by cheap QE money to make the $ look good, until this ends the gold price will struggle in my opinion, AIM market is driven by sentiment so as long as gold price low sentiment for miners will be low, there are other factors affecting sentiment that don't help.

Bancal yes it is an interesting thread, the issue we have is US QE , talk of tapering which gold needs but no sign of it happening.
These are unusual times, many feel the $ as we know it will be gone within 10 years so will the FED keep a degree of QE going (QE keeps gold down) until they can replace the existing $ along with the IMF with a new basket of currency combined with digital & gold. Us keeps printing and the S&P500 keeps looking strong so gold stay low. We keep hearing it can't last forever but some economists have their doubts and the FED appear to have a plan, they have no choice, high gold price would be a nightmare for the $. My PF is banking on a high gold price but I'm still waiting.

Notrader, I have 100% faith in the resource that GGP have found and we are still nowhere near knowing what the final number will be other than huge, do I have doubts in then management over the last 10 months, well given what has happened to the SP , yes I do. Not negative it is a fact, one that I'm sure many have questioned.

As to what I am , I am a joiner who in the last few years has taken to investments, I seek knowledge from both sides of an argument to allow me to make informed decisions, I do not put up with bullying or being being bullied because I or others are not sheep and seek to make our own informed decisions based on all of the knowledge we gather from all sides of an argument.

Hydrogen, as it is you who had issue, if Sliotar was or is a professional trading with access to BT, why is that knowledge not of use on this board, I don't understand so perhaps you can explain

Hydrogen you posted a false comment about me but the reply has been removed in the thread. You either don't fully read my posts or you cherry pick which parts you wish to use and turn them into a negative slant completely out of context from the post which you then used to falsely portray me as GGP negative when my GGP sentiment has never been anything but positive.
So is it lack of knowledge of my posts on your part or do you have some kind of agenda against me
