Matty, who knows how it will pan out, difficult when the resource keeps getting bigger, problem is I'm not getting any younger lol, would like to spend it on good stuff before I get to the ****y pants stage and it all goes on care fees.

Matty, it is the kind of exercise that could cause bad blood, don't know how they will figure that one out, but a good problem to have in a way.

Spade , no matter what anyone says you can't put a fair value on something that you don't know to exist yet, may as well think of a number , x2,+£2b,- the number you first thought of through a dart at the board and multiply by that number then chat about it over a bottle of scotch,= nobody knows.

If you don't know the size of the resource how can you put a fair value on in, they could throw a PC sum at it but it would be unlikely they would get a number that both sides agree. They could agree to buy the 5% with a deposit based on what they think is there now, then stage payments as and when it exceeds the estimate, but that wouldn't suit a lot of investors who would be looking for a big number and a clean break.

The resource sector has been hit hard with most shares over 20% down from year highs.

Not just GGP it is the sector in general, GGP slightly different from where it is in the lifecycle of a mine discovery, it entered the Orphan period even although the JV & funding on longer an issue, but when the resource sector comes back into play then GGP is very well positioned going forward. Patience.

Viking, I don't have anyone in mind just talking in general terms, but I do know if no-one replies to a post it just fades away into history, probably more effective than regurgitating & highlighting the very thing you don't want to see. But my main point is it is just market conditions for mining at the moment and not specific to GGP, so it just requires patience and if you have the funds and belief then a little topping up while it is still a bargain can only help.

Patience is key, the market is expecting a pullback so in general it is being traded & not invested, but this will end at some point so if you truly believe then continue to grab a bargain while you still can. Good news is irrelevant at the moment, if you follow other mining stocks you will see this. Patience.
Oh & if you see posts that are deliberately bashing and don't merit discussion then ignore it and it and it will disappear.
Also not everyone who disagrees with you is a troll so drop the T word unless you are 100% sure.
Like I said current market conditions can't last forever so we just have to wait patiently for a market reversal towards mining in general, then it should be a case of how big will this get. GLA

I agree with speedy, Gold & Silver is where those who have wealth store that wealth, and at the mo ent both are cheap especially silver. It has been the only true money for thousands of years, everything else is Fiat currency and all Fiat currency eventually fail if not backed by gold & silver. Do your own research , look at Kitco News or Stansberry Research or there are plenty of others. People like Tavi Costa, Edward Griffin, Rick Rule, again plenty to choose from. It is cheap at the moment and that is always the best time to buy.Also just my opinion , GL

KnParker, I hope this helps, a year ago I spoke with a senior geologist and broker from Sprott who hold a very large position. At that time he advised he would be telling his clients to buy this stock right up to the day a full buy out was announced. Like you I have concerns so a few weeks ago I asked my contact to ask about it again as he speaks to them daily. He said they are not worried but he wouldn't like to see a buy out or takeover at this stage as it hasn't reached its true value. I took from it that no one would lose anything, but wouldn't see the true value of investment at this stage. It is hard I know but at the end of the day we all have to make our own decisions. The market is worried at the moment and no one is investing, day trading are dipping in and out and I see the same pattern over my entire PF( 40+)people opting to hold cash, But the best time to guy good things is when they are on sale.
