Rukwa was mentioned as one of the many target areas for geothermal exploration in a article published in 2022 or 3 (can't be hooped looking for it again)
They're either crewing up well in advance for our own june/July drilling campaign OR they have a gig with a client kicking of next month
Just watched the video - yep, cancel that! So kengen are ab actually exploration company with rigs etc
Good find Skittish
Maybe a wee sweep of other operators like ARA with drillijg ops pencilled in for this year are worth having a sniff around for?
As i said in the rig pig group- I think they're are crewing up in advance, as standard procedure
Kengen look to be an operator, so may require the services of a drilling contractor. Its state owned too and we know HE1 has good relations with the Gov
The depths will differ as faults/fractures etc don't run in perfect linear. Geology will differ
Cancel that, kenGen have the gig

There is another outfit ARA who are planning to drill an exploration well this year, as will many other mobs
Possibly to drill Geothermal wells for the Gov in April?

I don't know anything about geothermal Wells and whether or not a big @s s rig is needed or not, but it ties in well with the crew up highlighted by others
Rockhopper took of into orbit AFTER a official announcement of DISCOVERY. We are months past the Stem test and we've recieved sweet FA tangible data, nevermind a discovery announcement
Stop misleading the board. No blast off here until they release EWT results and more importantly announce a commercial discovery. Which maybe never, with HE1 having the sh I tt est comms strategy in the OnG industry
Yeah but after all the hype surrounding their sodium tech, Lionvolt are flipping the plant to manufacture their solid state batteries
Brundish was bought out Karl McGoldrick good and proper. I bet he got a nice big fat wedge for facilitating the heist and for binning his sodium battery in favour of lionvolts solid state
He1 idled for weeks after the 0.25p placing and dipped as low as 0.19. It only shot up after HE1 announced upon TD shows of 4.7% helium and Hydrogen. It shot up 2p+ after stem test results. It then nosedived after HE1 kept the market waiting weeks, building up anticipation of a discovery announcement, only to announce a sub standard flowrate. Completely different scenario, as HE1 had something tangible to announce. Where as this placing is more than likely just to keep the lights on until the brown stuff hits the fan. I hope its not. We shall see
Technically we still own shares in the company. We just can't trade them on the market with being delisted. AMTE is still showing as in Administration, its yet to be dissolved. Are we still waiting on the sale of the IP's/other assets?
Holly
To be fair to those conducting the 10.4% ramping attempts. One of the reasons I believe HE1 will be a £ share, is that I think they'll inevitably find higher concentrations. The 10% seep is an indication of this. This is why I hope they raise more for drilling an appraisal well rather than go back to TAI 3/scene of the crime
In the meantime it's a waiting game and the market waits for no man/woman, as the SP proves
There are something like 40+ FPSO's currently on the order books to be built over the next 10 years or so (of the top of my head) that's just floaters. Huge market with lots of contracts up for grabs in the future
There is plenty of work out there for Petro to get after
Lest we not forget supply n demand. Summer is drilling season, so every man and his dog are drilling, equipment and personal become scarce, so rates go up, as availability goes down. Hence why you book well in advance and have everything ready to go sometimes years in advance. If they're waiting on a well test spread to come of a job, then that creates a risk of potential delay. Jobs get extended or don't finish on time etc. I sleep easier knowing that equipment is mobilised ready to go. This waiting for gear, suggest that they've not planned ahead
2 x well test + 1 appraisal well = possibly 10mil
If they don't drill a full appraisal and go back to Tai 3 to drill the extra few hundred metres, then a wee bit less
I think the vendors are charging them top dollar, hence the crazy cost of drilling a well out there. Shipping costs through the roof etc
It's very rare these big global OnG service companies go admin. They either merge or get bought up. Petrofac is one of the few yet to merge
I'm confident they'll turn things around, either through sale of assets, merger or advanced payments being made etc
