10 mil...and the rest, as they're going to be either drilling an appraisal or finishing of Tai3, either option they choose will require a well test. So funds for 1 drill + 2 well tests = a whole lotta money honey!
No viking, i spoke sense based upon my vast experience in drilling and thankfully for me and others who listened to my warnings, such experience paid of dividends
I'm not going to apologise for making money...that's the whole point of us being here is it not?
'Well done. I hit this one big time first time around from below 6p average selling in the 20βs'
You were one of the lucky few, or rather sensible few not to get snared!
He1 has been kind to you Trek, well played Sir well played!
More to come in the summer π»
Aye, a mechs famous last words! π€£ got stuck in a work basket all day once, got roped into changing out a floating boom penant on the crane. Took a shift just to set the job up. Removed the old one, handed over the new one for night shift to install. Came out the next day, to see the crane back in the rest, with the old boom penant back on. The new ones were a few inches too long, despite the barge engineer and marine queens being 110% convinced they were the exact same etc. Someone got confused with a slight difference with model of crane or something...it was all very embarrassing and there suddenly wasn't a big mad urgency to change the penants out! Probably still on the crane as we speak!
In fact, last job I was on fannying around with the mechs/maintenance dep, they installed a couple wrong valves with them being so similar in spec...not Cameron boys obviously π
Your bolt holes need to align otherwise you're not going to be able to bolt it to the telescopic ram. I'm not a mechanic, but I've lost count of the amount of times equip/parts have had to go back to the beach due to someone not ordering the specific model and it not fitting/aligning
Bear in mind, if you modify anything to fit, it's no longer insured. If it goes t1tties up, you got a headache with HSE and the insurance comp
I'm surprised its not fixed yet...unless they've had to order a new all together
It depends on HP/spec of rig and ofcourse availability. 950hp low spec, between 10-12k pd. I doubt HE1 will get that much being fresh and given the history of the rig. 8-9k pd might be more realistic. Not having an actual Iron roughneck isn't a good look either
Right once again = YOU DO NOT NEED A RIG TO WELL TEST! Is that CLEAR????
pred looks like it hasn't got enough room in the mast to hang the injector head any hoe
They'll more than likely go rigless and utilise the rig to drill either tai 3 or an appraisal...kill 2 birds with one stone
They may even utilise the well test package to test the appraisal well, whilst they have it at their disposal

The geology dictate depth of well. These faults don't run in perfect linear lines, so depths differ. Well planners design the well according to purpose of the well. They might run a long string of perforated liner or run a hanger etc.
You also have the potential of hitting higher concentrations. Pulsar had 10% in the initial well and they've now encountered shows of 12.4% in the appraisal well. We have 10% at surface, so there is potential to hit that down hole
Renergen initially discovered concentrations of 4-5% and then hit 10% concentrations whilst drilling appraisal wells
And aye, hopefully the rig stays were it is for drilling an appraisal well, cheaper, quicker and less fannying around

They'll be basically targeting the same res, to prove it up and get an idea of size of field etc. It's a lot less risky then a exploration well. COS is a lot higher. Plus they'll be able to target specific targets more accurately with the data acquired from Itum1.
Usually you would drill an exploration well, plug it and then drill an appraisal designed as a production well. In this case Itum 1 is going production,...if the well test is successful. So less fannying around
I'm no saying its not for the right reasons ffs! I'm delighted we are going to well test...I said that from the start! Sooner its tested and rubber stamped, the sooner it can go production, instead of fannying around drilling Tai3 again
Well test + appraisal well = best case scenario
Too soon to go back to Tai3/the scene of the crime. Investors need time to heal
Swerve
Where the hell did I say that there weren't interested parties??? Clearly there are, as clearly stated in the RNS and in the interviews. They'll be in advanced negotiations by now and just waiting on well test results to sign (or not on the dotted line)
Do you guys actually read what's being posted?????? I couldn't make myself any clearer if I tried
Lord give me strength
Amen π
And if Lorna needed more funds they would have raised more in February, they don't just pull a figure out of thin air
Jesus H Christ (where the fxxk do they find them?)
They hadn't confirmed what the way forward was in Feb, as CLEARLY stated in the RNS
Well test + drill = at least 10mil, we raised 4.7mil, do the maths dumbo...jeez
'Untrue, placing already done February 2024 - does anyone read the RNS's or is just scare tactics'?
Yeah, they raised about a quarter of what they need for well test and drill. Plus theyre burning through that 4.7m as we speak
There will be a raise, regardless of how deep rampers Bury their heads in the sand
