RE: Sellers got owned12 Dec 2024 10:09
Hopefully we will get some serious news, but personally I think it is more likely little bits of minor news, that probably won't be generating an RNS. There were various tenders that went out some time ago, heliport and accomodation, as previously said, if you'd heard you'd got one of those contracts, maybe you'd buy a few shares. Nobody builds a heliport for no reason.
Always going to be a major risk it won't be developed making the shares worthless, but I've always thought of it has "how likely" with many little things giving me the view it is getting more likely with a view to holding more shares and my 11p average being a good investment worth holding. Certainly we've more chance of this being developed than when Premier had it and RKH also own a little bigger slice of the pie. That plus Navitas seeming considerably more eager to develop is more than enough to justify the 20p share price.
But here is hoping for some more solid news. I don't live there anymore so no longer get the fun of seeing Sam Moody in the Malvina (he must have bothered to come for some reason, maybe buy a few more, etc.)
Front page of (last weeks now) Penguin News has an article on FIG borrowing money, £150m and mentions they've not figured oil into a future budget. I guess that is prudent to say.
The Squid doesn't seem to be making the money it once did, CT take is down. It seems to need a bit of oil to make ends meet.
