Above 88 Feb 2017 18:45
Well, my speculation yesterday was that we'd get to 8 or above by today, and then 10. On that basis I made a small investment. I'm happy to see that I'm around £700 up now, a 23.7% increase. I do think this will pass 10 tomorrow. I was really only trading this, so will sell my original investment at that point and keep the balance in the stock, as a free ride. The company is not going bankrupt, its fine, so a roll forward with essentially free money makes sense. I wont sell anything now until 10 is exceeded. The RNS was worth a drop of 25% in my view. The drop was over 60%. Clearly oversold, at least by reference to fundamentals. The stock should recover to 13 in due course; this may take a while as confidence has been impacted. But the gap between where we are now and 13 is capable of closing. At 10, my profit is close to 40%, or just short of £1,200 (I bought at just over 7). If that comes tomorrow, or possibly Friday, that's not a bad quick play. I dont usually trade, I'm a long term holder ordinarily - I just saw this, looked the company over, and thought, hmmm, I'll put just £3k in and see what happens. Nothing seriously wrong with the company, just a bad period, for many reasons. In business, always grasp the nettle, get the bad news out, rebuild value. I may actually have talked myself in to holding until 11! We'll see.
