I worked in the private sector before nhs and now do ...but I've always paid into a private pension too ...and dabble in aim ...i hope for all concerned the weald comes good atb gla

As for knocking nhs pensions that's dispecable...people work for years in the nhs and give their all work unsociable hours work more than they are paid for for our "gold" plated pension ....i have 2 nhs pension ...one after working in the ambulance as a paramedic ....and bring forcibly retired on Ill health grounds due to the job without a by your leave options were we sack your or you retire.......my second nhs pension comes from my late wife who died in service at a reasonably level but who also worked shifts I worked every Christmas for 17 years missing my kids growing up missing family events ..birthdays...weddings ...funerals ...sports days for my gold plated pension thank you very much ....ps I'm still working in alternative employment atb gla
