The IC is helpful but is by no means a bible. With Tullow's track record over the last few years I doubt just how much of new discoveries will be priced in - and if the next two drills are dusters then where will that leave the share price...

It is the norm around here - the drills - if successful aren't priced in...I hope :)

I have never used a Stock Broker, but I would hope that the information they provide to their paying clients is far more accurate than the information that is available free of charge online.

With Brent on the slide it is definitely worth waiting and I will buy in tranches.

I don't read too much into broker ratings, but what is the time period for their prediction to be achieved? At some point I fully expect TLW to be 3.00plus - but it could be a long wait.

Sub 1.97 - is anyone interested yet? I'm waiting for now.

I have traded this share for many years now - with success. I try not to get sentimental with shares but we can all get dragged in and Drone has made some excellent points recently. In fact I appreciate it when someone can provide supported information that goes against my beliefs as it saves and makes me money on occasions.
Not on here but I know of some that are still obsessed with the TLW glory days. I have forgotten them and for me TLW is now a trading share - I buy in tranches below £2.00 and look for £2.40plus. I can't see it flying but I can see it jumping.

I wouldn't sell if it is rising above your breakeven - but monitor closely - and maybe set a trading plan so you make a little profit if the price drops.
