Some on here were posting this years ago. As soon as oil production begins, the Kenyan government are legally bound to repay tlw over $1B incrementally.

Oil was in a downward trend with the lack of demand and due to conflict we see circa a 10% rise. TLW has low production guidance and due to hedging they need oil at $85plus.
I think what Coop is means is that the oil price rise is political rather than demand driven and therefore the price will pull back If a peace deal is agreed.
It will be interesting to see if Israel's response takes place when the markets are closed.

Look at the recent sanctions on Russia, where the British government played their part in giving the Russians a gold mine (POG). Never be fooled by sanctions.

'As for trying to frighten people over an FPSO lease commitment which reverts to a short term with annual breaks ? contract after 10 years is really beyond the pale.'
Who is trying to frighten people and do you police the nonsense that the rampers post ?
