This was priced to go bust. I previously predicted this scenario.

Based on the dilution I would now say this should in theory rise back to the 12p region.

Moving forward it appears again there a slight strategy shift so the SP won't increase further until this comes to fruition. The one thing working in all of our favours is the fact the one leading the company has the biggest vested interest.

Minto and Allsworth will be looking to increase the SP from here on in

People seem to be forgetting the major shareholders Minto / Allsworth have a big stake and therefor will not be settling for a cheap takeover, they could easily raise 10m, dilute and effectively take control again of the company. They should have relatively deep pockets from the IPO.

Probably shareholders best bet, maybe have 100% dilution but should equally see the SP increase dramatically.

UBS has had this holding for years - it moves internally often.

Why is nobody speculating on cosnova Beauty GmbH - own just under 3% and seems a natural extension to their business and provides access to the UK market. Looking to break EUR1bn sales and Rev would be a quick route to that....

I really don't understand how people this this is shorters manipulating. The SP is a reflection on how the company has been ran and perceived value. At the end of the day if people think it is undervalued they could easy pile in and make good money at these prices. There is plenty of liquidity.

I believe the risk to any fund at this level is not worth it unless they have information basically to the level of fraud etc. and the company may not stay a float.

If wood can work out with UKEF – $200.0mn Term Loan which matures in October 2026 then that is a lot of the burden. Given WGs strategic nature surely UKEF would give a favourable look at this. for UK Gov this would save a heap of jobs whilst making very little noise publicly as its under UKEF and will have little real monetary impact to extend payback.

The revolving facility can simply be renewed - obviously this may be on worse terms but removes the immediacy of any repayment in full.

Although the debt is not great its clearly manageable. The key is ensuring the business keeps functioning which appears to be the case at present.

I'm leaning toward THG - they have the cash and Ian McD is MM's buddy. Question is what's the value.....

At the very least there should be 5 / 6 companies looking at this now. BooHoo , Frasers, THG, W7, Original founders and PE.

Pearls - yes 50% of the whey cost are associated with whey prices - but in the sentence before he said that whey only accounts for 50% of nutrition sales the other elements beings activewear, vitamins and everything else in between

Why are you being obtuse.

Believe MM confirmed Whey makes up around 25% of nutrition costs. 505 of sales is whey, 50% of whey sales is related directly to whey pricing. Effectively makes or breaks a good quarter but it does not sit alone.

The most interesting comment was many retailers are still benefitting from cheap whey as they have long leads for products. The opposite will occur later in the year. This should allow MP to grow margins and remain competitive.

I'd say there's a 1% chance (rounded up) of Dividend, money will be used for debt and other skeletons. It would be irresponsible in this market to reduce cash.

I'd guess any dividend would be at 2025 year end following results.

Sidara I'm sure will take a long term view. I think the offer will be multiples of current SP to quickly close out the deal and ward off any other prospective bidder. They need to strike quickly in order to reduce business / staff interruption. My fear is WG rejecting a healthy offer with a battle ensuring with shareholders etc.

If +220p was jusified by Sidara, I'm sure 140p would be an adequate discount for the on-going issues.

Weird take on Russia's military capabilities. Its been 3 years!, they have been beaten back land air and sea and have now resorted to indiscriminate bombing and throwing men and North Koreans into a meat grinder. The fact that their are Ukrainians on Russian soil is embarrassing.

I think the negative wording in the statement is a must if employee bonus' have been cancelled - would be impossible to spin it any other way without huge revolt.

I think a few people are trying to pass their frustration with poor investment decisions and research on to a CEO. He hasn't been great however there are a whole raft of companies that have suffered more recently.

Recent actions have been positive and it appears to be turning a corner with or without NA sale.

Everyone clamours for more IR however no company pumps out that much information including those that are flying.

MCG should come back strong in 2025.

Heavy volume on the sell off - seems a treat and easy 30% once the buybacks kick in.

I cannot see how they could drop the bag given the amount of cash - the number one killer in construction is cashflow.

H1 cash and facilities: GBP 458m v current of GBP 550m....

Although revenue is below consensus EBITDA margin should have improved as 2024 EBITDA is apparently in line with consensus w/ potential c.10m uplift...
