I bought at 122p in Sept 2020, so I'm sitting on a substantial loss.

5% yield doesn't look so good with current interest rates. It's a lot lower (more like 3%) if I calculate as % of my price paid.

I can't see anything coming that would cause a big rise, my initial idea of this as an income investment isn't working, so looks like I might cut my losses and use the money elsewhere.

Or maybe a buy at 198 & flip for 200p. £800 for less than a minute's work.

Be interesting to see if there's any holding RNS on Monday.

I'd like to see clarification of the Blackstone HSC situation.

I think that's what holding this back, it's just not clear to me exactly how the setup works.

When I first invested it seemed clear, but now it seems like I don't benefit fully from the deals being done, and can't help thinking I've been conned.

I think £51m represents the maximum percentage (4.9% of its existing issued share capital) they could issue without requiring shareholder approval.

I don't think there's enough volume for any meaningful analysis.

I'm still in. It's only a small holding so I'm gambling on there being some interest soon, but wouldn't be surprised if I lose the lot.

My question is are the directors buying because they have faith in the company, or because they're trying to halt the slide and protect the investment they already have?

I've thought about a 212 account for dealing small amounts of very volatile shares.

It doesn't work in my main accounts as even a small fixed dealing charge means small trades aren't worthwhile.

It would be more like pure gambling than investing.

Restore tanked on results today.

I think the bid in August 2021 was about 530p equivalent for Restore.

Restore trading around 160p today.

This was only 2 years ago.
