Nothing has fundamentally changed for RR, the whole stock market is down, especially US. With the new tax year coming along, I hope this stays down for another couple of weeks so I can top up in my ISA before the 11th June announcement.

I'm not a Starmer or Fool fan (but those words do belong in the same sentence).. the articles do seem to be heavily weighted whenever I Google anything. Hopefully this means good news in spreading the news about RR and it's SMR potential.

In my opinion, it’s nothing down the pan as you’ve not sold. I keep topping up a little on these drops, and have confidence that come mid 2025, this will be flying.

I didn't even know that Rolls-Royce started developing micro reactor technology 3.5 years ago and partnered with the UK Space Agency in 2021 to explore its potential for space exploration, now they are focusing on making them small enough to send into space, RR SMR's on the moon potentially! (I might be getting a little carried away but who knows).

Rolls-Royce is in early-stage talks with potential commercial customers for its planned micro nuclear reactor, a technology it hopes will also provide power for space missions. 

Jake Thompson, director of novel nuclear and special projects at Rolls-Royce, said the company was exploring opportunities to deploy the reactor “across data centres, mining and remote communities”. 

Better known for its civil aircraft engines and for building the reactors that have propelled Royal Navy submarines for the past six decades, Rolls-Royce wants to capitalise on its nuclear expertise.

With global interest in small reactors growing quickly, the company believes there is a business case for micro reactors for both terrestrial and space applications. 

Absolutely no science to my guess, 530 at worst, 630 at best.

What I read is: "The UK government has allocated £100m capital funding in 2025/26 for clean energy project development and a further £25m to help set-up the company, headquartered Aberdeen. Great British Energy is in line to receive a total of £8.3bn from the National Wealth Fund over the next five years."

A good time to top up with what I have left of my ISA allowance. imo, i’m seeing huge potential here, not only within the UK but also globally, where there's a growing demand for cutting-edge solutions in sustainable energy and advanced technologies. With SMRs RR have positioning themselves right at the intersection of clean energy and innovation. Add to that their likely role in big tech and AI development, and it feels like RR’s potential could far outshine recent budget shifts.

Apologies if this has already been posted however I read this article this morning, and what stood out to me is: "Therefore, a fair price for the stock would be £11.56, although it may go lower or higher than that." Fingers crossed for that!

That would make £20k invested now, around £47k!! (minus some stamp duty).

Still here too, everything I've seen about RR in the news recently is positive so I'm staying in it for the long term - my retirement pot.
