Thanks for the links, very good to see Simandou getting a huge boost from determined Chinese investment. Chinese ambitions don't end with Simandou, which should focus attention on other world class iron ore assets they may target. This ,combined with the recent big changes to our JV/share capital structure, augur well for ZIOC in 2023.

Zak is saying 11p by end February. When it seems to be then crossing another long term line - which no doubt means 'something'. I am also sceptical about chartists, but they can become self fulfilling in the absence of any other news.

We are also dramatically underpriced for a world class iron ore mine at pre-development stage. One that has just altered its longstanding corporate/JV structure specifically in order to attract in an international miner, who can now potentially get a direct equity take. Our IPO in November 2010 was at 156p for a mine project actually at a less developed stage than where we are now.

I also get the impression that someone has been accumulating over the last 3 trading days. They are primarily buying in volume on the bid side but moving the bid price up gradually as they soak up supply at a given price level. Good to see we ended the day above 6p.

Interesting 2-way business, bid holding around 5.55p even though its been hit with some big orders.

And now a late reported trade for 400,000 @ 5.0p @ 14.55.

Interesting movement in the share price today, up above 5p again. We have had Stage 1 news, eagerly awaiting Stage 2 announcements.

ALB1 again reveals himself to be the mercenary amateur manipulator previously exposed - he turns from suggesting a share price of 0.35p is the right price, to a target 20x as much of 7p in the space of less than a week!

LT. You are most likely right about Wednesday's reaction to the Colluli news. I hope we are moving steadily towards an agreement in the first half of 2023, the only recent news that has concerned me has been the resignation of Gavin Chamberlain as COO. It seems odd to resign at a time when the project is moving to fruition & would surely have bought him considerable financial & professional benefits had he stayed on board for another couple of years.

Thats a good point about political risk, country risk assessors put Eritrea at 'Extreme' two levels above ROC's 'High'. Which puts ROC in the top 50% of African countries, that has to help the relative viability of our project.

LT. Well neither of us of course know what his actual KP2 holding position is or isnt. But he has form for persistently trying to talk down a share, he began with Zanaga about 6+ months ago before moving to KP2. Same MO, basically trying to get it at half the prevailing share price & posting scare stories before opening - just like here with his 7.00 headline 'Placing at 0.50p' type stuff. Since then Zanaga has approx doubled & if he didnt invest he would now be paying twice as much. A blatant manipulator.

Alb1 reveals himself to be a cynical manipulator. Whilst he pumps out his endless negativity - his 0.35p prediction, 0.50p placing, deal falling through etc - he is actually buying into the share price weakness he hopes he is creating with his negativity.

They announced the acquisition on 23 November & its agreed by GM on 13 December & completed by 16 December. These guys are (finally) not hanging around, IMO this bodes well for future announcements regarding the next stage (s).

What I mean re marketing is simply getting the ball rolling with the likely takers - in my industry that would mean phone calls to key executives of targets you had a relationship with & written proposals to those targets you didnt have a relationship with. So its frankly not a costly matter & I dont see a need for websites either, but industry events like Barcelona do make sense. My feeling is the NFX management are always waiting for more test results before they embark on a major push & I think we have run out of time for 'wait & test'. But of course maybe stuff is happening behind the scenes...

Thanks Soup, but I wonder what that means in practice. What I feel is needed in the New Year is a full scale marketing drive where you bang out proposals to the top 6-8 most likely takers of 002 & 004. Given our financial situation I think we need to do the best with the tests we have already undertaken & not keep postponing a full marketing drive until we have a 'perfect' data set. Time is the one luxury we no longer have.

NFTs, thanks for your thoughts on our financial situation. It is a serious source of concern going into next year. The key issue for me is - do we have the minimum acceptable data sets for 002 & 004 to realistically approach potential partners? If not what are we waiting for & how quickly will it arrive? We seemed to have made decent progress with Kissei some 3 years ago with very limited data, so early approaches can work. So my feeling is come January we basically need to put out feelers regardless of the completeness of the data sets - we dont want to be a bankrupt company with 'perfect' data sets. Besides which the big pharmas are 'big boys' if there is potential they can see it & decide themselves (rather than NFX trying to second guess) what further tests they require.

Very good that Peter Hill is on the board, he needs to make this work. I am hopeful we will get a more detailed explanation on Friday as per "...the Company will make a further announcement upon Completion. " As extrader and others have outlined, there has recently been a lot of real progress across key infrastructure areas such as rail, power & a port - all of which require large volume users to justify their construction. Its coming home!
