1. Of all companies, accrued income accounting is imperative to the utility sector. It’s flawed and materially.
2. The level of bad debts seems to exceed industry norms substantially, even if not, it’s seriously impacting profitability because critical mass revenue (aka not paying) to meet direct costs not met. ( marginal sales)
3. Gross margin additionally under pressure due to market force compression. (- this is a massive red flag - they haven’t hedged adequately and could be nasty)
Any competent businessman and / or investor can see total alarm bells whereby the basic foundations of a utility business are cracked. No controls possibly from the start.?
Bobby whatnot may be disappointed etc, spare the tears. He’s either lazy, complacent or incompetent to get to this state and let down shareholders on Monday evening. Again, no apology.
The big suppliers, contrary to oiliers expert CV, will not be happy - 100pc. It’s a young company and dispensable, the model being friendly and personal- sort of knackered receivables? How does such a service increase bad debts to allow a gross profit warning to a loss?
Bobby now has a short time to prove he’s a real businessman. Possible, that’s your punt . Perfectly understandable to take the punt but please stop the no brainier crap based on its was £10 before and the customers love it , revenue is growing and there is still some cash.
Business hasn’t changed, it’s not revenue or costs- it’s their moving relationship that only that matters- and currently no one knows what that relationship is.
And before the ridiculous “your shorting a minuscule free float company “ or your selling 100k to buy back, wake up. You can’t short it and I don’t own it. I post because I see no real analysis but baseless ramp posts trying to entice others so the posters can exit. Be great to debate points 1 to 3 in a constructive manner to assess what the RNS implicates so far - here’s hoping .
People say why do you post if you don’t hold- conversly, why post if you do hold?
Answer this last question would be enough - clue - non holders can’t make money on this free float as you will never be able to short
