i look at this as a positive, when you have something to sell, being first is not a good thing as it gives your compertion a leverage to under cut you, which in some cases enables you to up your price, as you may of been to cheap.

after just reading the merck web page on the placebo trial, a pill was taken every 12hrs for 5 days,
so at $700 a pop, x 10 = $7000 a course,
