With respect, what are you guys getting out of this? If you bought pre 2010 you are essentially f****d.

correct. Hurricane is not currently selling any product whatsoever, it is purely an exploratory company as far as research leads me to believe. But sitting at 40 pence that's very impressive, potentially a SP driven by investor sentiment and news flow. As for this, a 1p share price is absolutely alarming, but an article caught my eye recently. An oil discovery just outside of Hull?

Ok I'm looking to invest in a penny stock energy company. I'm torn between this and hurricane energy. At least with hurricane energy the sp is pretty decent considering they dont have anything. This one seems to be dead. Can anyone advise? Purely as a gamble and understand that risk.

I also would be interested to know this. A few years ago the nvp was 2.60 but inthink that's essentially been halved since then.

I have now past my initial 10k shares target and currently sit at 15k shares. For me that is quite an achievement! Next milestone is 20k shares. For us small fry PIs, keep going you can do it.

You're talking about public money. Every penny of which is accountable. That's a lot that of money that could be put to better use elsewhere.

We reached 50p on hype alone with no product or mine . So I suppose by that reasoning a pound at some point is feasible .

I don't think another company is really an issue. Think how many pharmaceutical companies are out there, thousands! A lot of them sell very similar products. Don't worry.

I don't think it really matters. Look, if it 10-20 years we're sitting at 50p I would confidently suggest that every single one of us will be well in profit.

Getting my last big order in today as funds will allow. After that I'm going to sit on the fence and see what happens post news. And I'm not just talking about the initial hype I mean to see if it can stabilizes and maintain it's new SP whatever that may be. I've heard some of you suggest north of 40p others 20p. Dont be sure that successful bond news will send the price rocketing. I've been here several times before on small cap "punts"where everyones expecting news to send a sp to the moon. Perhaps to 15/20p but from experience I wouldn't suggest any more than that.

I think we should end this debate now, its getting silly. A huge petrol giant being taken over is irrelevant Jones mate. No offence like.

I can see both your points, but i think given the current 10 pence share price.... let's focus on 20p first! :)
