Thanks for the advice! Think I just need to be more careful as I got caught up in the hype and story of Sirius and it looked promising, all was going well, shareholders were all going to meet at the 1 pound party at Christmas etc. Honestly, it looked like we were all going to make a LOT of money. So I guess my question is, is Graphene just the next "hype" it's going to revolutionise our world and products etc. When actually, the same thing happened with graphite with the promise of EV cars. Many bought into the graphite hype as the cars battery requires a lithium/graphite. You see my point This has been at what....1.80 to 70p? Whats going on? Genuinely interested if this could be the next GSK or whatever.

I think they just needed to be more realistic about raising the amount capital that they need. I'm surprised at seasoned business men thinking that they could raise billions on a product that Is still in the ground. Why couldn't they keep raising in smaller "stages" millions at a time rather than 1 big lump sum?

No, there is no catalyst to enable a breakout. Only confirmed funding will push this up.

I wouldn't pay any attention to advice given on here. I know certain members on here who are quite prolific posters were singing SMs praises, 1 pound party by Christmas etc. Whether intentional or not that influence did affect many unsuspecting users to buy.

So you've come to the conclusion that everythings fine because you saw a BBC report on One Show? Have you considered the report could have been made WELL in advance? Also consider that it could be a last desperate clutch of the straws .

It really depends on your loss. If you've put in a couple of grand, i'd say hold. If you have a pension on the line, or a substantial amount still left in... i'd be inclined to say get out.

FFC I've already mentioned this already. We either get diluted to next to nothing OR somebody buys us out with Sirius being in such a position that they can't really afford to negotiate. Everything that CAN be going against us, IS.

I think, understandably there was a lot of reactionary selling on the part of P.I's. The key thing driving this is not "IF the mine is built" it is "who will own it". The government isn't stepping in, so get that out of your mind. That leaves either massive dilution (in the short term, I can live with that) OR somebody buys us out NOW for a nominal SP of 4-6p. imho of course.

I agree, I'm hanging around to see what happens, certainly not to berate people. If you've already lost it all, you may as well see it through. I suppose I'm one of the "fortunate" ones who only put 2 thousands pound in to Sirius. I hope it all works out.

I wouldn't read too much into a Sunday Politics conversation between a couple of nobodies. The fact that workers have been "let go" and work coming to a halt tells me all I need to know. This is over in a sense (for us P.i's) but it's a private buyers wet dream. Somebody will take over, make private and earn a fortune. Unfortunately it will be without us along for the ride.
