Stormer, the very recent share consolidation for AML has worked well, the value of my investment there is higher than before it happened. The last few days for AML have been bumpy but still my investment is showing 100% gain. There is a gambling element to TSCO which gave rise to me buying yesterday. In the coming week I may well sell for a 10% profit if its offered. JJ

Food for thought if we make 4 trades with a clear profit of 20% each time then it grows £1200, £1440, £1728, £2073. My aim is for 4 such trades each year. Some of the boring shares in the FT 100 will give us that 20%, and you may pick up a dividend as well. Message to self take profits. JJ

0.54p and 0.74p; what a plonker!!! JJ

A week ago you could have bought in around 54p and now 74p, what fun!!! JJ

The gap in the share price between Barclays & NatWest has opened up, about 22p before posting now whereas it narrowed to 10p a few weeks ago. Let me suspect that some good news is going to be out this month, time will tell. JJ

Heading for 100% gain with TRX
Actually lost half of my investment with VAST.
Both on paper, and the good news I put more into TRX. JJ

In my time in business I found that when a business is going well it pays to publicize the fact as it motivates all concerned and leads to higher output and better quality; on the VAST website they could do that each month to change the market skepticism, come on bod we need this now. JJ

As we come out of lockdown I believe car travel will be the thing(this comes from someone who believes in the train). A lot of the oldies(me) won't want to risk the train etc. but will call in to the services and be on the look out for those with a M&S believing them to be cleaner/safer. MKS should have an increasing presence at Services IMO. In town centres they should also open more small food only stores. The nearest town to me is Henley on Thames, no M&S in a place where the locals would love to have them. Not everyone likes to use out of town. JJ

Lostagain, thank you. I am not sure how I came to be in TRX, I think it may have been a post by AMERS, although he does not seem to post here. In the scheme of things my investment is modest in TRX, although I am tempted to change that. MTRO has been a horrible experience for me, although I think I have made up most of my losses. 0.75 is the point where my investment shows 100% gain, it really looks in sight. All the more interesting when for a long time it appeared stuck at 0.33 level. Its great to see such positive thoughts expressed here. My October aim of 1.7p is looking somewhat modest!!! JJ

judging by the share price today. Has the gov't have reached a deal to release their hold over our bank? Is a special RNS in the offing before FYR day? The Chancellor needs every penny he can claw back asap. JJ

but how much? A simple RNS giving the £££$$$ would get this share moving, up hopefully. JJ

consolidation IMHO. But a gradual build to 2p is an exciting goal for 2021 as the world manages the pandemic and TRX grows. And 2p would be a fantastic profit for many here.JJ

Agree Chilting. One area that Premier Inns and Travelodge don't do well IMO is their food offering. My current view is that MKS could provide a direct competitor to both 'hotel' groups. A good moment to launch as we come out of lockdown and people want to move around. MKS hotels would appeal to the oldies like me. JJ
