The Chinese market was briefly mentioned in the article I just posted, published 2 days ago.

“ Imagine a world where the specter of antibiotic-induced hearing loss in infants is no longer a daunting uncertainty but a preventable reality. This is the world Genedrive seeks to create. The company's dedication is mirrored in its rigorous pursuit of excellence and evidence. A recent study investigating the knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and practices of hearing screening practitioners in Luzhou, China, sheds light on the global relevance of such diagnostic tools.”
“Genedrive's strategic move to apply for funding under the NICE EVA scheme is a calculated endeavor to bridge the gap between innovation and implementation. The endorsement of such a kit by the NHS could serve as a linchpin for widespread adoption, setting a new standard in neonatal care.“
“ In conclusion, Genedrive PLC's quest for NHS funding for its MT-RNR1 ID kits is more than a milestone in the company's journey; it's a potential leap forward for neonatal care in the UK and beyond. As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve, driven by technological advancements and a deepening understanding of genetic predispositions, initiatives like this underscore the importance of innovation in safeguarding the well-being of future generations. With the NHS's full recommendation, Genedrive's MT-RNR1 ID kits could soon become an integral part of a new, more proactive approach to healthcare, where prevention is paramount, and every child is afforded the best start in life.”
Kent, Surrey and Sussex launch should be announced in the next 5 weeks, the shareprice should move dramatically on that news.
Typo, here it is...
"Genedrive are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Babirus, the exclusive distributor for the Genedrive MT-RNR1 ID Kit in the UAE!"

Yes quite positive and there's been a whole load of improvements to the device in the past 4 years. When you start digging through LinkedIn and on the web you see there's a vast amount of media, praise and publicity around the test... it's clear the team and industry have been working very hard to push it forward.
They’ve recently published the views of nurses involved in the PALOH study. Carried out in 2020 though only just published.

World Hearing Day 3rd March.
End of March usually.
We should have the KSS rollout announcement before then and I hope FDA partner news.
Buys showing as sells now, moving up slightly :)
Nissan, there hasn't been much buying pressure as a lot of the apparent buys have been sells... it's fairly even at the moment with reasonable support around this price.
And this...

They haven't sent the samples off yet, Lorna said they will do that but it's not something they are waiting on. She said they are evaluating what they have in terms of flows and logs, it's early days and the next steps will involve more drilling.
I believe they’ll pursue NICE full approval whether they get special commissioning or not, as they are such a globally well known and respected organisation.
It won’t take 3 years though. NICE say that they can ask for up to 3 years of evidence generation (for anything not specific to genedrive). However James Cheek made said in the video presentation that they believe they can generate the data NICE have asked for in 3 or 4 months (I need to double check the exact wording but it was around the period of time of a few months).
The recent update to it could be as small as correcting a grammar mistake or editing the meta data.
I believe it’s the comments and responses from the public consultation that happened before NICE announced their ‘recommended’ decision last year.
Will do System!
Guy, the number of sites was mentioned in the Q and A. The locations we don’t know except for Kent, Sussex, Surrey. Also at least one overseas hospital was expected to be up and running this year.
Special commissioning is what I want an update on as that should enable many more to adopt the test without waiting for NICE.
Cheek said they can gather the data required for NICE in around 3 months, so if that starts in October we could have full approval at the end of the year.
And further roll out, there are quite a few sites expected to go live this year… several in Q1.
Yes it’s concerning. I’m going to rewatch the presentation later, specifically the bits about special commissioning.
Well there was a comment from a medical professional on LinkedIn claiming AIHL was being rolled out to Kent Surrey and Sussex in Q1, so if that’s still on then there should be very positive news quite soon.
Need an update on special commissioning after James stated he had 100% clarity that it’s going to happen and will circumvent NICE.
