Basically because selling bonds into chaos is never a good idea. Look at last night's Futures. Before China blinked it looked like another very bad day was coming. Some sold. Some bought. Short term is white noise. Long term is what matters with an investment like SXX. Personally I believe that if you believe that there will be total economic collapse you should buy camping gear. If you don't I recommend buying SXX. Do remember I own a lot and I have been wrong in the past but selling in fear is not something I do.

Pulling the offering in a chaotic market was the right thing to do. Regarding the chaos I'm glad to see China Blinked (note their currency policy today which has stabilized world markets). Personally I think US/China will calm down and we'll move slowly to solutions.
As for SXX. Fundamentals have not changed. IMO the GBP will not be going higher for a while and producing in GBP and selling in $ will not be a bad thing. Offering Bonds into a panicked market is never a good idea. This too shall pass.

Disclaimer. I am long a lot of shares. I am not selling even at the price I believe this stock will eventually trade at. I bought this stock for what I believe it's dividend yield will be in a few years.

IMVHO one fine day this stock will pay a yearly dividend that is more than it's SP is today.

I think there’s a lot of money seeking high yield return so this route
seems plausible to me.

Thanks. I may be wrong but I honestly believe that this is an investment that can go up 5 to 10X over The years. Odds like these come rarely and they come with risk but I still am a strong believer even in these interesting times.

saw the drop

There are always rumors of leaks when stocks drop sharply. Personally I don't think that's why the SP dropped sharply. The fact that SXX will have to raise additional money is not new. The hope that it will be mostly debt is hope but I have no knowledge that that is anything more than hope. I woke up saw the drip. I looked online for news and saw none. The markets have been very volatile. People have theories. Theories are not fact. They are worth considering but in the end you have to decide what you think not follow blindly along in fear. "Brexit/Trump/China" are theories but my Dad always said when asked why the market was going down: "More sellers than buyers". IMHO SXX is a long term investment/play based on simple economics. It was a huge long shot. It's less of a long shot now. Management has done a great job and will continue to do a great job. You wake up and take your chances. I bought a lot on Friday. Was I right to? Time will tell but being afraid to bet on what you believe in is a sure ticket to a downward bound train wreck that can become your life in a heartbeat. Happy Holidays and Cheers!

I think ADM news is positive. I have no more information than anyone about what large companies may do in the future but these days I wouldn't be surprised if several companies take a serious look at SIrius.
