From February 2th to February 27th, relevant leaders of China ENFI Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. and MCC Changtian International Engineering Co., Ltd. visited Hainan Mining Shanghai Center and conducted in-depth exchanges on the cooperation related to future Mali projects, and Teng Lei, vice chairman of Hainan Mining, participated in the forum. Zhang Qi, General Manager of China ENFI West Africa, and Li Zicheng, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of MCC, respectively introduced the experience of the development and construction of lithium mine projects at home and abroad, including the feasibility study, initial establishment and construction drawing design of the project. China ENFI and MCC Changtian guests visited Hainan Mining Shanghai CenterTeng Lei introduced the development history of Hainan mining industry and the company's operation and production in recent years, especially mentioning the breakthrough made by the company in the acquisition of overseas lithium resources and the construction progress of lithium hydroxide production base. On January 2 this year, Hainan Mining announced that it intends to invest US$28 million in cash to increase the capital of Kodal Minerals PLC (KOD) and its wholly-owned subsidiary Kodal Mining UK (KMUK) to acquire the Bougouni lithium mine assets in Mali, which will hold 1.19% of the equity after the transaction. China ENFI and MCC Changtian guests visited Hainan Mining Shanghai CenterThe Bougouni lithium project consists of three mining areas, Sogola Baoule, Ngoualana and Boumou, and the main product is spodumene, which is an important raw material for lithium salt products. The mine has a total ore resource of 1.18 million tons and an average grade of 57.6% lithium oxide. Teng Lei said that he welcomes China ENFI and MCC Changtian to discuss the construction and development of the Mali project with Hainan Mining in the future, and become an all-weather strategic partner of Hainan Mining. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on project production needs, local government policies, design procurement and construction issues, and feasibility study report submission.
