Off a cliff - true. No volume. The MM aren't offering to take hardly any shares at this bid, but the ask has not flopped all the way down to bid. There's hardly any liquidity here but yet Cantor are propping up the 6.5p bid on L2.
On balance I'd say one MM has shares (Cantor) and is ready to move but some of the others don't have - the way they make book on AIM shares that have had trouble, like APC with its placings, is weighted against holding shares apart from at the bottom of the cycle. If they don't have shares they don't want it to move.
It's just an hunch based on the movement but on balance I reckon this is more about an accidental byproduct of MMs trading algorithms - possibly, as I stated earlier, coupled with some minor league sell off from some incentive share scheme or somesuch, given the pattern and quantities dumped. Coming at a time when buyers are understandably wary coming up to results and locking the book up. Hoping it will bust out of this soon as literally nothing is happening and it isn't helping anyone like this.
Incidentally agree with the critiques below, BOD cannot hide behind a wall of silence and expect investors to stand by them. They should have sent some guidance by now IMO, given the issues of past 18 months, to inform the market. Ignoring PIs rarely a good sign but I still hold a candle for the company and really hope it will pull through this awful period fairly soon and some normality will be restored.
