Thanks for the input obs (my indiscreet invite worked) - I'm also intrigued with the Greenspur generator and applications with the Stirling engine - direct-drive and waste heat recycling seems a compelling offering for wind turbines and given the advantages in today's transition to renewables just smacks of opportunity --- the addition to the board of high profile people in this sector certainly seems something to consider,

I've been holding INSP for several years on and off - off translates to sold at a loss - and seen the false dawns never having the luxury of a full explanation as to why thing's didn't turn out and so fully understand why PI's might jump at the chance to have more transparency.

So why am I holding now?

Partly because of the doubling in electrical output of the Charger - how has this been achieved? and secondly, because opportunities to be part of a historical disruption don't come often in a lifetime - whether we see hydrogen becoming a source for providing heat and hence the Charger being the right product at the right time or part of a hybrid solution or other applications and timing - DONG becomes Ørsted

Just another thought, Wind turbines produce something like 5% waste heat - Greenspur tech with a Stirling engine in this application at this moment in time!

I'm pretty sure PI's would support Chris Hemingway and Andrew Hall's addition to the board:

Mr Andrew Hall, the former-CFO of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy S.A. (which is listed on the Madrid and other Spanish exchanges with a current market capitalisation of €13bn) who is highly regarded within the renewables industry. Both Mr Heminway and Mr Hall are available and willing to serve as Directors of Inspirit.

There most definitely seems to be some frustration with INSP 's willingness to work with TTA, and they have the generator to support the big waste heat projects:

This would be an interesting development with TTA and Greenspurs tech being developed - seems waste heat on industrial scale is their interest plus other applications.

I think it's positive either way even if to only force the hand of INSP to reveal the real progress, this is a great time to be into renewables with some much money available from governments!

So looks like my guesswork has proven to be correct - read the PDF from link in the last post and Chris Hemingways ambitions.

I do wonder if the improved efficiency of the Inspirit tech is connected, add to that the scale they are now able to deal with 300Kw with Greenspur having demonstrated 75Kw and 250Kw generators 2016 - 2019

Halbach effect is a way of getting efficiency from magnetic arrangements in motors and generators by flipping the fields to act in one direction - it's used amongst others by Tesla in its EV motors. (just my thoughts on how they might have improved efficiency)

The huge advantage of the DD PMG manufactured by Tees Components is that it is rare earth-free. Ferrite is up to 40 times cheaper and much more abundant, with the ability to manufacture ferrite magnets in the UK.

And add to that the Diffusion Alloys business establish 1955.

If you look at Greenpurs tech aimed at wind turbines with an efficient way using ferrite magnets as opposed to rare earth permanent magnets as part of the generator with great efficiency but 1/40th the cost?

Now how did Insp get that doubling in electrical output and no increase in the material costs?

Greenspur and Inspirit have both worked with UK universities - Greenspur have an expert in magnetism :

So my guess is that Greenspur wind turbine tech scaled down stands a very good chance of being part of the charger mchp.

You can do some really clever things with magnets to improve efficiency take Tesla they apparently use the Halbach array of permanent magnets in their electric motors.
