We are Pi's the larger investors will have this knowledge so just to keep people in the picture, DuPont are also working with DLE from brines in Nevada on a small scale and a division of Schlumberger are also looking at producing from brines again in Nevada.

This is the lithium space that's attracting new investments and so this should be expected, VUL were also mentioned in the Shard report in January 2021 page 3:

I would say the German car makers will go with the greenest sourced lithium and other battery materials that's seems to be the message and on the back of dieselgate could be why no news of an off-take with VW as most have been expecting, still there's plenty of demand and Cinovec should be part of the lithium supply chain in Europe.

I have been holding for a number of years and really was expecting off-taker news with German car makers by now and with VW announcing $14bn battery deal with Northolt then you would have thought a European supply deal would follow.

There's planned production for 40kt of lithium hydroxide in 2024 within Germany that's not from Zinnwald or Cinovec with claims of zero CO2, Still VW and other manufacturers will want a secure supply so maybe more than one source would be sensible.
