Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
The Welsh Government strongly supports this voluntarist approach whereby a potential host community would seek discussions with radioactive waste management about hosting a GDF.
“Before a final decision about siting a GDF is taken, a test of public support in the potential host community would be required.”
In consultation documents, the government said villages and towns in North Wales could be offered millions of pounds to allow nuclear waste to be stored there.
The government is trying to find places willing to be home to a disposal site , with the radioactive waste being buried at least 200 metres below ground.
Looks like there talks are on going with third parties regarding the new nuclear plant in Anglesey next to the old one, after Hitachi pulled out
Anglesey has 'best site in UK for nuclear plant'
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-54894212
It has also been thought that the Parys mountain site could be a possible site for storing waste material from the old plant. Apparently the previous board members had nuclear connections
This could add massive value if the site is sold to this sector. Already local houses have been bought up to make way for the new power plant
If the copper is in the ground and the price is increasing, so is the value in the ground
It's what's called an appreciating asset......most deals are done when there is a resurgence in demand. Much the same as in the oil and gas sector
A deal here would turn this much discounted stock around in a heart beat

What can we expect from the region in 2021?
Good piece in here on New Age and TRP

Regarding GBP, the additional CPR numbers are all based on leads.........not even prospects
A CPR is normally calculated by an independent company not an in house staffer. Their flagship licence pel29 has run out of time and been relinquished. So the numbers today were a desperate attempt to compensate for loosing pel29
TRP are the largest acreage holder in the Walvis basin and has 2 x 1 billion barrel prospects Alpha & Gamma and 4 further huge leads. No wonder TRP confirmed talks with a major.
In addition there is the near term production from Cameroon and farm out potential in South Africa and a near term CPR reserve upgrade
The value here should now far exceed GBP, now they have lost pel29

"If so, once the 'vaccine' is in circulation we (the world) will be back to normal"
The world will never be back to normal, with the current leaders in place
Anyone taking a vaccine that has had a few months of tests, instead of 10 yrs, wants their bumps felt
They haven't even tested the vax on animals

EXPLORING WEST AFRICA AND BEYOND
“We know our current areas of operation very well. We have been active in West Africa for many years, but it’s difficult to expand our activities – early entry costs have risen sharply. Consequently, our ENV team has started to explore new regions outside of our historic core areas in West Africa.”

Today marks my last day with Svenska Petroleum after thirteen years. It has in turns been fun, challenging, frustrating but never less than interesting. I'm most proud of the excellent technical and commercial team we built at the company. It's now off to pastures new and I'm looking forward to working on a couple of exciting projects in the near term.
This is a significant player and would not be messing around with TRP unless there was potential. Is it also significant for Peter to have both feet in the one company ? Deal coming ??

Surprised no one mentioned the Eco rns this morning
Eco have extended their licenses to 10 yrs and taken the Oranto PEL43 license, which they now call the guy blocks, which used to be PEL34 below PEL43 shown in the pink
Looks like the Walvis basin is getting a whole lot more interesting

GBP sandwiched even tighter. ECO's new blocks were Oranto's PEL43 directly below GBP and ECO's PEL30 directly to the east of GBP

Big move by Eco this morning
Eco have just taken over blocks 2111B & 2211A, which used to be Oranto's PEL43, a significant move
GBP now have ECO to the South and East
Eco, also negotiated a new 10 year deal on all it's Namibian assets, seems to me GBP is front and centre of the current focus
Deal on its way ???
Carbatooters means an older bike, I can't remember which one you said you had.........flat sides means a sports bike
I had one of Jim Hodsons ZX7R privateer race bikes from the BSB championship the last year they run 750's think it may have been 2000. That had flat sides. The thing run awkwardly, is the best way of explaining, at a track day at Donnington, until I realised one of the carbslides had come loose, nipped up the screws and was a missile after than
