Boyzee,
I see that you are referring to the RNS dated 05th October.
Re: ‘I cannot square the mkt.s sp movement and the mega positive ukog rns.s. I.m being brutally honest.’
I agree that since the issue of that RNS movement in the SP is not fantastic primarily because of the likes of Solo et al, selling into good news (as require the cash for their own projects) , and let’s face it lots and lots of day trading for beer money.
However, it’s early days yet isn’t it? surely an updated Xodus report will be the defining factor, and at this stage proven recoverable reserves have not been issued by Xodus for HH so some new investors are holding back for now, otherwise the volumes and SP would have risen faster etc.
Re:‘As I said in my first post of this thread, the wording/phrasing sounds very odd ...the part about not being construed as reserves is majorly worrying. Just what will Xodus put into their cpr regarding reserves and probabilistic stuff volumes?’
OIP as we know, is not the same as recoverable proved up reserves, and as yet is currently to be defined. IMO, a total recoverable reserve figure value will not be issued until the Kimms have been fully tested. (May be wrong on that, and a Portland CPR is issued separately, we shall have to wait and see.)
Re; ‘The mkts will crucify ukog if these nos arent good, they really will. If I hadnt read so many rns.s, cpr reports etc over the last 30 yrs, I.d be thinking ...SS/DL good lads. The mkt does not like ukog period. It does not trust it or its bod. The stream of tankers currently coming out of HH should be leading to a stampede by ii.s. ‘
It goes without saying that if the final Xodus report is sub commercial the market would crucify UKOG. I do think the market’s perception of the ‘Weald Concept’ is slowly changing, yes we have had some bad press by the likes of the BBC and others, and BB.
We cannot however simply ignore the fact that the Oil is coming out now, (25 plus Tankers so far under test conditions) it’s there like it or not, and as for instutional investors/ii’s coming on board at this stage, that will only happen further down the road when UKOG are generating cash from production. That cash in turn will fund the next well and so on etc. In fact SS has openly stated in a recent interview of the potential to generate a £million a month from production.
Re:‘If you can get an ii or 2 suddenly showing interest great...but you cant. It could easily be done on a mkt cap of say £100m. In fact, everyone bails out ...Solo, Gun, Prim etc ...they sell up. Why oh why? Angus ... Cornish/DL link ...rns.s ... all worrying to me. It doesnt add up.’
I agree seems illogical for now them selling, but many Investors bail out for all sorts of reasons, (look at Crystal Amber/HUR as of late owned 20%, now 5%, one of main reasons that HUR fell I reckon, prior to market correction last week, but they will most probably buy back in again, I 'm sure,
