What I would like to know is:

1.Strategy for Lincoln/GWA, tieback is this now on hold particularly for Tieback to the AM pending further analysis/ Spirit agreement/OGA Consent/JV FID rather think it is?
2. Status of Gas Export to WOSP, is this wholly dependant again on agreement with Spirit?
3. Status of Rig availabilty , ie PBLJ for Lancaster if no further drilling on GWA?

From my very limited understanding, AA will most likely be shorting against , ie hedging their bets against Longs/ shares already purchased via Morgan Stanley and Bank of America (See RNS's), in other words maybe something we should all have done in order to negate long position/holdings. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

That is the $64000 question is it not?, for which all shareholders demand and expect an answer to. Where/What are the results of the so called SR?

Instead we have had deafening silence, no updates as to how the SR was going, no updates on other interested parties and then on the 08th Jan, we get smashed in the face with a 'Possible Cash Takeover' RNS.

That plus the Times article adds nothing but suspicion of collusion.

If there is any justice in this world, we must have an official investigation.

Time is of the essence here, no good waiting given the 'Proposed Recommendation' I would have thought, by the time any other offer does comes in, indeed if it does?, all will be lost.

If you can't see, that a decision has already been made by the company, (I can , it's my very strong gut feeling) it's just that they haven't officially declared it as yet, but it's coming, and we have to fight back.

Bottom line is this.

I think we are all on the same hymn sheet, (most anyway) and I think we are all in agreement that we are being ripped off, and I think we are all in agreement that we need to fight CF and the BOD's in looking after our interests and not his and AA's.

Just a thought though, first hurdle is finding out private holder details associated with Nominee accounts, eg Hargreaves Lansdown etc. Not sure if that is doable under GDPR etc.

Better to place campaign in press/ social media I would imagine and let holders come forward voluntarily.

I agree, ShareSoc is the way to go as they have the knowledge and expirence, all of us shareholders must contact them to garner a position an voice an opinion plus all being well Ed from the DT will promote SH's concerns. Time is of the essence before J Curve and his mates seals a deal!

Agree: Reduce operation to a minimum maintenance level and look for alternative solution .

ie Freeze all operations until such time that an alternative workable strategy can be formulated that is in the best interest of the owners of Sirius, ie the Shareholders, and is not in the interests of AA or any other entity wishing to remove our voice and control of events.

A tough call indeed, it's a typical David and Goliath scenario.

Agree, boittom line is we would require roughly 702 Million votes of support, ie can we be assured that out of the 85000 retail investors that they hold a a minimum of 702 Million shares out of 7 Billion shares, I would have thought this was very plausible indeed.

1. First and foremost, my initial thoughts on never having done this before would be to engage a solicitor whom was practicsed /specialized in company law.
2. Put an announcement out via this BB and in the press in order to capture 10% and their support.
3. Funding is the the next consideration.. Crowd Funding/existing shareholders ?

Step 1: Extraordinary General Meetings

If the directors do not call a meeting when so required, the members can call one themselves (sec305). If all else fails, the court can call a meeting (sec306).

Step2: There are stautory rules governing the period of notice that must be given for a meeting (sec307 - sec313). The minimum stautory period for any type of meeting is now 14 days (sec307), though a company's articles may require a longer period, (Articles, that would require research) and a meeting can be held on short notice with the written consent of a majority (90 or 95%, depending on the articles) of the members. (that needs looking into)

Simply because, we do not understand the motivations of AA, there is a very strong case for AA to buy and mothball the mine, ie and reopen in say 10 years when Polyy 4 is worth so much more? see below DT link.

Questions, irrespective of takeover rules, rules that can be got around, rules that can overcome shareholders interests need to be aired.

I at this point, will not be satisfied until we have a full investigation in swing by the FCA, and questions in the HOC as to why this shipwreck has been allowed to be delivered into the hands of AA, it stinks IMHO.
