Mental fortitude!!
Having been involved with this share for 3 years, this has driven me back to drink after 18 years on the wagon.
I've held throughout in my sipp and my average finally down to 72, and sold at a large loss in my isa but have bought back half for a lot less , which has so far made back maybe 15% of what i lost.
It's been a total self inflicted disaster by the most incompetent BOD just allowed to destroy the value of this company over 4 years, without any accountability.
I still cannot for the life of me understand how Garat/Helen Weir/ the useless IR clown John Deane were not pulled up by the main shareholders. It's baffling.
Any decent BOD worth their salt would have foreseen where interest rates were heading and would have started trying to address the finances in 23, even doing a fund raise like most other companies did, that are thriving now.
They could have done a raise any time 21/22 when the SP would have facilitated a fairly minimal dilution. Even at 80p it was too late.
Shocking BOD we had, and now another 2-3 years holding what i have left.
