So Mogg are you saying we are paying top dollar to merge with a company with no cash

Most - we issue shares in desperation at 16p and zero when share price was 30p plus last year - what is the deadline for the SR? Are we exploring - no one has any idea - when reading this board everyone seems to be guessing what's next as opposed to a road map - why is everyone having to guess ?

Share price being walked down - the assets are there but maybe a competent board of directors isn't - maybe the strategic review without deadline is to maximize the npv of the board salaries

Bubble they got our votes back in Dec, now they'll just bank their salary chqs for a further 12 months until they need us again

Tier 1 asset and supposedly other Tier 1 assets in the making, a newspaper report on Solg potentially being a future target over the weekend and our share price starts goes South - cannot make it up

The only time the Board seem to care is when they want our votes - shocking treatment of PI's and Fauzi gets $450k pa for communication and investor relations - I hope we see a 30-40p next year so we can bail out if we want to - the Board are just taking the pi55

When Solg/CGP each partly owned ENSA, Ecuadorian tax rules made purchase inefficient for any buyer - with the CGP purchase that has been tidied up ENSA, this makes a sale more likely than was the previous case -I believe the intention is to sell this off and probably CGP do as well

CGP will not care whether it is Solg or BHP or etc - they just want the maximum deal for themselves -this will get the ball rolling to flush out any other bidders for their company - hence as mentioned by others, we need to get this across the line asap

DC did talk about a name change to reflect our commodity

Maybe new name to reflect copper should be:

Skippo you are absolutely correct - there should be a reassuring communication about share price drop but that would need the company to communicate - don't hold your breath

Quady - why has the share price fallen over 50% in a few months - I guess the market has full faith in our mgmt - the board should allow shareholders to question them - at the last AGM that opportunity didn't take place - where are the Regional partners ? It's been over a year maybe 2

Quady you have more faith in the mgmt than I do - to lose one FD is careless, to lose 2 in such a short time under the same CEO who has been in place for less than a year speaks volumes - even McDonald's wouldn't employ these clowns - of course the company are going to say we are going to production - but who will be the owner when it happens - how will they raise the capex when they seem to have failed in a "small" fund raise - everyone says they have the expertise in house or with 3rd parties - I am sure Rio said the same with the Mongolia mine and what happened there

This company has great assets but looks like bigger liabilities sitting on the board of directors - are mgmt competent to raise the capex for production and build a mine when they struggle to pocket money to keep the bills paid - yes I'm being overly negative and looks like a low ball offer of 40p would be a good price to get out and invest the money in a company where mgmt can run a company - why such appalling communication

Agreed SH - communication from the board sucks - one day maybe the Directors will take questions at the AGM rather that cut off the meeting immediately and hide or at a special web meeting for shareholders to question them

Well said Fortissimo - a directors duty is to all shareholders not just the biggest

Any idea why they did find raise when price was in 35-40p region or did they just wait for another opportunity to line their pockets with a lowly priced fund raise -are Solg the Ferrari F1 team of the mining world - great car (or asset in our case) but no strategy to duck things up

With production way-off -maybe performance awards will be linked to the number of fish or chicken farms they open for locals or how well they pi55 off BHP - no chance it will be linked to share price as will never be paid out - always dubious if awards are 200% of salary -would have thought salary was good enough for more people - incentive for directors should perform and get paid a salary or get sacked -just usual lining off at pockets
