9) Sale of Regionals
10) Solg going to production by themselves
11) something else not included in 1) to 9) above

I'm going for 3) as Chinese can bid more than anyone else and produce mine cheaper as they have lower labour costs as they will use Chinese labour and next to zero Health and Safety standards

Scott Caldwell must be kicking himself that he didn't wait a few more days to get his options issued at a cheaper price

I guess one way or another some big decision will need to be made this year by Solg mgmt.

Ecuadorian govt aren't going to wait forever for the mine to be developed and in production and get their tax dollars from the concession - Solg (whether current owners or a future owner) cannot drag their feet forever. Could we lose the concession?

What I cannot understand is why there is no deadline for the SR ? It is a case of saying the path we want to follow - it not as if they have to supply details of a future buyer, production details etc as the time the future plans are revealed

Typical none committal mgmt we have seen over the years with no respect to deadlines or vision

He does not get them for free but when they vest, the are sold and the company receives the 17p a share at the time and he receives the balance - so he never has to pay it out of his funds 1st - easy money

Just when you thought Caldwell was a fresh start for Solg - you find he wants the cream the company before doing sweet FA cup final - will not vote for these incentives - just another executive lining his pockets

Do you think the SR is to decide whether we farm out or sell the fish, bakery and chicken businesses ? Buy one of the businesses for £3bn and have Cascabel thrown in for free. But any 2 and also get Porvenir thrown in.

We shareholders have never been able to 2nd guess what would be included in the next RNS or presentation by the company and in that comment I include SOLG management. This company is just impossible to predict what's going to happen next.

Scotwell should read Scott Caldwell

Scotwell to spend 59% of his time in Ecuador and speaks Spanish plus he looks hands on - cost reduction, efficiency and streamlining - he mentioned Nick was sitting nearby him when he made the presentation

Like the way Scotwell keeps saying cost effective manner - at bloody last - he seems to be the CEO we always needed

Scotwell said "we are mine finders not mine builders" plus no new tenements to be issued by the government if I heard him correctly - very interesting

Maybe if a bid came from the Chinese, BHP could counterbid to make the Chinese pay more and increase what they make out of Solg when they walk away

With the Chinese trade deal and Ecuador minister mentioning the mine will start Cascabel build next year - do you think they are aware the Chinese are negotiating to buy the mine

As I said the only NPV the board of Solg were concerned about was to maximise the NPV of their salaries divided by work done or effort expended

I heard that the Solg board all applied for the clowns job at McDonald's but we're turned down as they were found to be not remotely funny and incapable of juggling more than one thing at a time - their next job application will be parcel delivery on the Solomon Islands
