Chuckle Energy plc, the downmarket, downstream, onshore methane extraction company is DELIGHTED to announce that its Chief Exploration Officer, SimonTheZealot, has this morning reinvested in SOU at sub 11p as previously mentioned. JezTheFez, CEO and Chairman of Chuckle Energy, commented: "I am DELIGHTED that my brother is once again a SOUnder and I am certain that he will spout more of his hot air on the bb now that he has resumed his investment position. He did call it right and he did say he would get back in when the duster at Te-10 was announced, so good on him. Both he and I look forward to a successful and swift conclusion at SOU where we will hopefully witness a breathtaking LE."

Price is plummeting. Maybe there is a placing coming today and the MM's have caught wind of it? Looks rather strange though.

Lucas - funny you say that. STZ phoned me this afternoon and said just that. That OGIF bought in at around 80p and did I honestly believe that JP would do them out of pocket and that there were other II's that I seem to remember buying in at around this level too. OGIF have already given JP their support going forward with the sale, which could well mean that they have already been reassured by JP that they won't be out of pocket with whatever deal is decided upon. That is mainly why I believe we could potentially see a share price of at least £1 - for the simple reason being that nobody should lose out with their investments. OK, so it's not the, "many, many multiples" that we were hoping for, but at least a lot of people are hopefully going to come away from this with some dosh.

I have every faith that we will all be just fine when all of this is over. If I didn't believe that, then I would say it, trust me! You know I like to say it how I see it and I have a good feeling about our conclusion. I think we'll be sold sooner than most people think, which may catch a few people out who were looking to get back in or average down / top-up. The savvy ones are topping up now IMO.

JoeCreed - it's not over yet. Let the sale happen and then base your judgement once you and all of us have the facts. We will be asked to vote on the sale price....each and every one of us will get to vote and I suspect whatever the price is, the vast majority of us will vote 'yes' to it. Let us not forget that the details of the sale will be put to us first and it will have to be approved by us before it can be sanctioned. In that RNS, whenever it lands, JP will make his recommendation and he will I suspect, recommend that we vote 'yes' to whatever the offer is for x,y,z reasons. I'd be very surprised if you won't be smiling very widely when all of this is over. Trust me, mate. I've been right about a lot of things thus far with SOU.

Having read all of the posts from today, I still think people are being a bit too emotional and showing a lot of anger. I'll say it again, I wouldn't underestimate JP's ability to broker a deal that will satisfy all of us. He is fully aware of where the share has been in the past at its height and I suspect he won't want anybody to be out of pocket. I will also reiterate that the sale price has very little bearing on what the current share price is. People need to fully understand this so that they don't get the two mixed-up because spouting a sale price of 20p per share is just plain ludicrous IMO. It means that some of you placed very little value on our assets prior to the Te-10 result, which surprises me.

I would recommend that people do not lose focus at this crucial stage and to try and detach any emotion you may or may not have about SOU, the team and the current share price from what the potential sale could look like. This is my new strategy and I am now solely focussed on the end game and how much per share we are likely to achieve. I would like to think we could still achieve at least £1 per share and others will have their views. There may also be contingent payments that form part of the deal i.e. we get rewarded for every TCF that is discovered by whoever buys us.

I also believe a deal will be done a lot sooner than most people are expecting and I foresee the share going into suspension whilst the deal is being finalised at some point in the not too distant future.

Apology accepted, JONNYFUNK. I'd like to think that some fellow investors can now see that a lot of what I was predicting has come true, despite taking a terrible amount of abuse for suggesting what I did. Most of us our down our investments at the moment, which is not ideal, but I honestly do believe we will all be smiling by the time this is over. I know and appreciate that some of you think this may be absurd but I trust JP to do at least one thing right for us and that is to deliver us a decent sale price. Let's wait and see what the next news flow brings, but all this negativity and threats of violence on JP and his family etc has to stop right now. It's not right and it's not good behaviour.

Jacklevi - not sure. Could be for a variety of reasons, not all negative e.g. maybe they thought that the bigger prize was to go after the eastern Moroccan assets as JP did. You can ask JP himself if you need an informative answer. It's not for me to speculate on really.

No, I bought in last Friday just before I headed off down the coast for the weekend. I bought in the 17p's as many did, which is still good value IMO. Another top-up today and that will be me done. No more.

The Chuckle Brothers did offer to play host to the next buffet. We had our deep fried Haribos at the ready, not to mention the spam fritters and chips. People would have left our venue with their stomachs laced....literally!

I will also point out that the people who are usually very positive about SOU have all of a sudden fallen silent on this bb and the ones who are usually perceived to be negative have added their thoughts today. It's the ones who can tough it out through troubled times that are the strongest willed ones IMO.

PNE and I have manged to patch things up today, which is one good thing that has come out of today and I say good luck, mate to him because he has been one of the ones who has looked upon this share price as a good buying opportunity as I have. The savvy ones are adding to their holdings now just in time for the next bout of news flow, which I believe will reveal quite a lot of extra detail regarding the potential sale.

Jacklevi - I am remaining quietly positive about the future here at SOU. It's uncertainty that is the killer for me. At least today's RNS has made it very clear that the 'for sale' sign has now been erected. Can you imagine for one moment if we had received no RNS today or a wooly worded one? The share price would be all over the place. No, I am feeling quite chuffed at the moment compared to where my head was when I work-up this morning. It felt like a kicked football. Now we have something to hold on to, which at the end of the day, is all we really wanted.

Glad we can finally agree on something. Good luck with your investment. I'm sure you've done the right thing. Buy when others are fearful and emotionally charged. I believe the share price at the moment is excellent value.

Not sure I agree with you there. We will however need to find a farm-in partner should we elect to go after SM. There is some value that can be placed on SM for sure. It's just that we haven't spent enough time over there unlocking its potential. It remains to be seen whether or not SM is used a bargaining tool though with the upcoming offer(s). I just recall what JP said at the BB event. Something along the lines of, "I'm not paying much attention to Sidi at the moment, which is a good thing.....right?" Plus there was no mention of it in today's RNS and I believe that was purposeful.

Guys and gals attending the AGM today can garner some more information from the Team today with regards to SM. I'm sure JP knows what he is doing in the interest of the company, its shareholders and the country of Morocco. Leave it to him. I trust him enough to believe he will do us a decent deal.

That was what I suggested a long while ago. That we sell out eastern Moroccan assets, return a special dividend to shareholders and then with some of the remaining proceeds, move on to SM as the new vehicle SoundNewco and conduct some detailed 3D seismic over there followed by a 2 well drill programme. We try and prove-up some gas over there, sell the asset and have what will be our second LE - probably around March / April 2020 at the earliest depending on how quickly we can forge ahead with things.

The other option of course is that we sell everything, lock, stock and barrel and that SM is used as a bargaining tool. I say this, purely because SM wasn't mentioned in today's RNS, which I think is quite poignant.

I wonder if all three will be present? BM, JP and JJ.

I also believe that the vast majority of investors including myself have share price averages above 11p-12p unless you are a very LTH or a newbie. People are worried that an asset sale may only see a dividend of around 25p-35p per share and even if they ploughed a load of their money in, in an attempt to reduce their averages, some people will still be sitting above this price bracket.

That's the stark reality of where we find ourselves. If you were a newbie buying-in for the first time today on the strength of this morning's RNS, then I guess the risk / reward is fairly decent at these low share price levels for the reasons already outlined. It's all dependent on where you are sat in terms of your average share price I suppose.
