Member Info for JET47

Hi, MattyBoy, I'm glad you got your £70K in. Your post started me thinking. I've only been in this share for a relatively short time so of course I consider myself a newbie. But, is there an agreed timeframe/concensus for when short THs turn into medium THs and then into LTHs? I've heard some posters say they've been in this share for 10 years or more, which is amazing when you think about it.

I'm lucky. I have 4 days to go for big (good) news on another share. It splits up the waiting.

You have my sympathies on your 'one that got away'. Unfortunately this seems to be a familiar post. There are more than a few who sold for one reason or another, and I imagine that applies to a lot of shares. One of my rules is that when I sell a complete holding I never look back or check it's price again. Hope you find your 'big one'.

Glad it's back, Spinrock. I just watched an episode of Leftovers. What a strange spooky programme that is. Won't be watching it again. Then tried the Board and nobody was there! ha ha

Perhaps they can't accept your vote one week before the date, but I would query that by phone. Obviously I don't know how long you've held your shares.

Samo, I can't give advice. And why would you want to take advice from people you don't know? You need a regulated tax advisor - someone who you will give you the best advice for your circumstances.
