The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Thanks Wasred, 5x5. Thanks AJ but when I'm checking out a website I want independent verification, not from their own site, and I wouldn't send my email address to a generic webmaster gmail. Anyhow, moving on, I suppose share prices may be fairly flat building up to the G7. It will be interesting to see what NCM come up with.
Morning Peeps, I had a look at the KWNews link. The site looked like a joke site, full of sensationalist hyperbole, with extra-large red and blue print headlines. I'm trying to find out who the owners are but I can't so far. Anybody know?
And it's a short week next week [technically].
'I loved sting ray, much better than thunder birds.' Sting Ray was all right but I liked Lady Penelope and I loved her car. I wanted that car. I still want that car. Never mind, at least they built it. A lot like our mine, really. Have a great weekend all.

Redtrader, this is how you value a mine.

Thought I'd start a new thread.
Anyway, thanks Bamps for the Ernest Giles update on the mining rights. I was going to ask that. I'm wondering what with climate change, how the drilling will go this year. I know Newcrest/Greatland have a good track record for safety but Australia's optimal periods to mine are April/May and Sept/Oct, yes? I don't see them stopping unless it gets up in the 50s.
Speedy: I worked in Libya during the American bombing of Tripoli, Lockerbie and sanctions. IMO what happened to Gaddafi was because of his wish to establish a pan-African currency based on the Golden Libyan Dinar with the 140 odd tons of gold and like amount of silver in his vaults to free Africa of it's 'currency' yoke, usurping France in power. The two-faced French President took offence. He agreed to the bombing but refused to let the US fly over French air space, which is why, on the second (secret) day of the bombing the last US jet bombing run took out the back garden brick wall of the French Ambassador's residence. Add in the US and soured relations and expediency over hidden UK/Libya deals about who to blame for Lockerbie while not wanting to confront Syria and Iran for being responsible for it, and bingo, one dead dictator.
ANYHOO, back to GGP. As far as GGP investors following other posters into other shares, I would advise caution. It's easy to get bored in the quiet periods while waiting for the next news and think, 'oh, I must rush into this other share'. But 'Act in haste, Repent at Leisure' so, as always, Do Your Own Research and take your time about investing.
Remember, GGP is de-risked. The gold's proven to be in the ground and nothing's going to stop Newcrest from getting it out.
ATB:))
Woohoo, Bamps, 'Big Machine Thread!' Sandvik, good make. I'd love a go at driving that. {No parking jokes please, LOL} You could flatten the base at the back, put some height to it and convert it into one huge two-storey, all-terrain campervan.
Maybe GGP could borrow Florence for an Ocean's Thirteen and shake the gold free. Did anyone see her yesterday? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9575751/HS2-boss-hopes-UK-gets-project-launch-huge-tunnelling-machine.html
ATB:)
Many Happy Returns of the Day, Peter. This will test your sense of humour, LOL.

:)))))
Thanks, T&T.
Re this line, 'Should the regional exploration programme across the Paterson discover another Havieron style project then we believe that this would be transformational for the shares.'
I'm not sure how I take that. It's either a big hint or leak regarding upcoming news of another 'discovery' [ours or someone else's?] or they're saying that the current Havieron discovery isn't good enough [for the 'market'] to warrant raising the SP by a 'transformational' amount. Havieron is a stand-alone de-risked Tier 1 world class asset. What don't they get about that?
