My take on this is that these 9-11% dividends across some insurers are abnormal and in a steady state (is that ever possible in the modern era!) a return of 5-6% is more plausible.
If I am correct we are looking at a fair value of £9-£10. Is that over simplistic?
Exactly the same situation within the sector especially LGEN. It seems that sentiment will return with PHNX following AV. This seems a great time to start positions for new entrants.

Really enjoying the “intelligence” on this BB and the depth of research and insight. Feels like a special opportunity. What was it Warren Buffet said ? - you only need 5 good investments in life. This feels like one such possibility.
