Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I'm all for those genuinely invested having a gripe when circumstances warrant it. But there are some here who clearly have an ulterior motive to spread negativity simply for their own benefit. They are not hanging around poking fun at investors and management alike just for their own amusement - only an idiot would waste his life away doing that. So it's clear that their job is to sow doubt and do as much damage to the s/p as possible.
Eloro - IMO the risk/reward ratio fairly strongly favours a buy/hold stance at present. Of course we aren't privy to the behind the scenes deliberations which may ultimately affect the outcome, but on the surface buy/hold appears to be a reasonable stance at present.
They may have nothing much now but the possibility of being part owners in one or two tier 1 assets in a couple of years with very little ongoing expense to shareholders surely makes it a hold/buy at these paltry levels?
Some chunky sales and some even chunkier buys at these levels. If I were a cynical chap I'd suspect someone was delaying things on purpose to shake out the weak hands and load up themselves. But no, hush my mouth, these kind of things don't happen, do they?
Nice find f29. Unequivocally, unambiguously, unmistakably bullish for all concerned. It's been a drag for sure, we're back around the level I first bought in at 4-5 years ago. It's gotta be time to exit this trading range and settle somewhere substantially higher as drilling proceeds.
Yes I've added another 35% to my holding this last couple of weeks. Before that it had remained the same for 3-4 years.
Oh well, if you're not a believer you may as well sell up and naff orf then Peggy. Why torture yourself if you don't have any faith in Arcm? Just leave the BB to us deluded fools. We're quite happy to be left alone to potter around here amongst ourselves.
is back on twitter dissing the management. Strange timing to try and disrupt the s/p. At this stage he's like King Canute trying to hold back the tide. Hope you got your wet suit On CB, u gonna get drenched Bwoy.
I had a feeling we'd get bogged down in bureaucratic apathy trying to mine in an area of ONB. At least the gold price is keeping up with inflation while we wait, even if nothing else is.
I seem to remember that Alba were once valued at 14p by some broker or other..
I can't remember the exact figures but a while ago I posted that I thought all Greenrocs assets were worth something approaching $10bn. That's pure end market value with nothing deducted for operating costs, transport, taxes etc. At this early stage it is worth very little until a jorc compliant estimation of the assets is produced. Even then it would only be a few % of the total to reflect the further outlay and bureaucratic permissions required, though that should still see the Mcap at multiples of today's valuation. IMO...

"...the world’s biggest car companies would, in their fear of getting left behind, start pairing up with mining firms, either signing offtake agreements or buying ownership stakes in miners, that can provide production guarantees for hugely in-demand battery/ electrification metals such as copper, lithium, nickel and graphite."
JVs or offtake agreements etc. of course. With 16k+ posts one would have thought you'd know a little more about funding for mining ventures.
Odd that it's taken some of you so long to suss him out. I'm not a great judge of character but I had him on filter after just a week of his twaddle.
Filtered. Chippy little bleeder for a noob..
I seriously wouldn't be selling Groc to buy Alba right now unless someone is in the know that dewatering permission is good to go. Groc has potential assets worth probably into double figures $billions with support and encouragement from western govts. IMO Clogau gold has a potential value of under $1bn, with environmental hurdles and possible bureaucratic lethargy if not obstinacy to overcome. George has gushed in the past about Groc's future worth so I think he is fully aware that it would be dumb to jettison them at this early stage.
Absolute bargain at these prices, IMO. Offtake agreements or JVs should take care of capex costs. I can see this being a £100m+ company in the medium/long term.
I read several years ago that easy financing would be fast tracked for the mining and production of strategic minerals in the west.
Having had goodluck on filter since soon after he arrived, I wouldn't even know he existed except for the numerous posts engaging with and replying to him thus affording him the continuous oxygen of publicity and enabling him to continue to pollute this BB. You're supporting him and keeping him alive...
An eventual ten bagger on the s/p would be most welcome! :-)
