A belated thank you Timster for posting the Twitter link last night. I lost my connection immediately after looking at the link so was unable to thank you then. Some interesting posts this morning(and some drivel)

A friend of my wife started showing symptoms a week ago. She has been testing with a govt supplied LFT every day since. Negative every day until today when she has tested positive. clearly she now has a very high viral load and the LFT has finally picked it up. Her daughter who also showed symptoms a week ago has exactly the same experience. This would lead one to suspect that many of the tests currently being used have exactly this same problem. Have we heard anything about this from the govt, the regulators, or the media - have we hell!! Usual cover ups. The only people with the moral fibre to front up about this are Avacta. Well done AS. Incidentally I am currently sitting on a 47% loss having bought regularly over the past 12 years or so.
Have to agree with chrispjones. Avacta staff are entitled to time off over this Christmas and New Year period. Having just driven past Avacta's Cambridge lab I can confirm it is closed up with no cars in the car park. I'm sure that they will be back working hard as usual next week

If you believe TP may be taken over on the cheap then when Sag take over TP invest the money you get from the purchase of your shares in SAG. You will then still benefit from any improvement in the taken over TP Group
The board of TPG have failed to unlock the value in the company and as you suggest fatoomch SAG are a very effective BOD who over the years have been very successful at unlocking value in companies they have taken over. For me I will take the offer and reinvest the money in SAG
