Afternoon all, enjoying this returning to normal levels now - hope everyone has been keeping well and making some money

Morning all, I had a small investment during the big drop during covid and after taking that profit have been busy raising a family but back in now at 412 just before this recent dip. Glad to see some guys still here providing sound advice as they had in the previous years.

I'm hoping to see a further dip before topping up tomorrow afternoon or early next week.

I have a small amount invested in a clean energy etf that went up by 2% odd after the US markets opened but yeah, no news. Lets see where the next few days take us.

Oil stocks seemed to be rallying a bit today but upon open of the US market they for the most part all dropped a fair bit... Anything in the news I am missing? Can't seem to find anything today that may have triggered the drop?

I have been topping up every so often when I can afford to currently and am averaging at about 265 so far.

I’ve been telling myself every time it drops lower and lower, surely this can’t go any lower yet it does.

I am optimistic despite my very limited experience that this should rebound in the next couple of years at worse...

Anyone thinking this could go lower? I remember people laughing at someone say this stock would drop to below 250 a while back and now look where we are lol

Rach, it seems you’ve allowed to let people get under your skin and seem to be on a bit of a rampage not really contributing anything to the discussion of the shares or trading etc. Simply criticising and complaining? People may be less inclined to filter you if you give constructive feedback back since you are supposedly in such a strong position? Just something for you to think over rather than direct your aggression towards me.

Any idea behind this slight increase? Sitting on a 20% loss currently is nice seeing a rally despite how small it is. Not holding my breath yet.

Im averaging at about 2.75 currently and slightly worried as a starter about the strength of this share- was hoping for opinion of some of the vets as to what they think should I see this as a long term share or if it’s stability has been damaged permanently

I am new to trading and basically just dipping my toes in to see what its like with a few hundred pounds. I saw the BP share price at around 292 and have bought 50 - I have no idea about trends and am looking at going for a long hold on this while buying some more at the end of the month. I've seen some seasoned traders on here and was hoping for their non scathing opinion of potentially pumping another £500 roughly into this?
